I’m gonna use T for taesung and H for haebom.

T’s grandma passed away and while they were mourning, H disappeared. They looked everywhere for him but couldn’t find him for a long time. Outta nowhere T runs into H who is now working at a bakery. He tells H to come home etc. but H says he can’t cuz he found someone else. T doesn’t believe him and it’s confused but anyway they end up doing it in a hotel and T follows H around and won’t let him outta his sight. (It’s really annoying up to this point but then it gets readable)

Then, H is taken but Redhead and they’re both now in front of T’s grandfather who exposed that H was forced to leave T by him cuz he’s a psycho homophobe father/grabdfayher who threatened H with kidnapping T’s mother and forcing her into living in a psyche ward if he (haebom) doesn’t comply with his demands of leaving T. ATP, they’re all in one room and psycho tells them to grab H and hold him down. T is also grabbed and held down by multiple ppl. Psycho tells them and redhead to rape H in front of T. They get as far as pulling his pants down and he’s crying telling T not to look. T cries and says “fine I’ll listen I’ll leave him just stop..” or something along those lines so nothing happens. T is now living with psycho pretending to follow along while H is living with their friend who a few chapters ago, learns the truth about it all and what happened to H when he disappeared (H explained it all) while H is living with him, T and H don’t contact each other but they the friend, T receives info and pics of H. H is just depressed tho. T starts plotting a way to take psycho down and we’re at this point where he finally got some evidence of their wrongdoing (psycho and redhead whom he hired for the kidnapping job) The evidence showed that in the beginning, when H disappeared, psycho hired redhead to kidnap him and lock him in a room with no windows for weeks while he just yelled random crap to break him down. Not physically tortured but mentally. (The way they got the evidence was redhead crashed his car while drunk driving so it was kinda lazy imo how everything is working out but whatever it’s still in the process.)

Currently, H is still living with friend, T is tricking psycho by going on blind dates but blind date is actually playing along/helping, T’s parents just arrived to see H at friends house after all this time so they’re crying together, and redhead is in the hospital unconscious while a hired guy by T is watching him.

If anyone wants to add to this go ahead cuz I forgot details I’m sure lol

Okay so I read up to T kinda raping H so I wasn’t able to stomach any more because T and H were such a wholesome couple and this manhwa was always so cute and wholesome that even though I admirably was a little excited for some angst and the grandfather, I couldn’t stomach it
But that is actually crazy, thank you so much, honestly you spoiling it made me wanna pick it up again LOL cuz you’re right it does sound like it gets readable (other than h almost getting raped by another guy)

Oooh ok yeah cool! And I think I’m gonna just let it marinate several chapters and go back to it later too lol. It’s just such a silly random season after they literallly got married and had their og story practically finished. I just read this season out of boredom I guess lol. But yeah I guess “readable” is kind of a loose term used but hey we’re all still here somehow hahaha. And I agree, that chapter with them holding H down was hard to read. Ugh I dunno why author is dragging it out but whatever…Also, I reread my comment; sorry about all the typos!! Hopefully it wasn’t too difficult to understand lol my bad I didn’t proofread it sorry!!!

Honestly when i started reading it, I’ll be honest i was excited for it and defended it
Cuz OKAY I agree this season shouldn’t have existed especially since they already had their happy ending, but I was super curious about the grandfather cuz we were told about him being a threat from the start so I was a little disappointed when we never saw him so when this season came out I was like HELL YEAH
But then it just got too much for me especially since I have a hard time stomaching things that go from super wholesome to super angsty, like it feels like I’m watching my kids being tortured so I couldn’t handle the rape and the possibility of haebom cheating it was like Σ( ￣□￣||)
But yeah I can see why it gets easierish to stomach (other than the near rape scene you mentioned which thank GOD I stopped before cuz if I kept reading with releases with that scene on YIKES)
But yeah your explanation was perfect! I might just marinate it too until the season is over so I can just rip the bandaid off
Guess this is what happens when rent is due… honestly I would’ve rather the sight make a new one dedicated to angst into wholesome type stories like Waterside, Painter, Jinx, and all those other ones instead of ruining an already good and finished 100% fluff story… they have the popularity so it would’ve done a hell of a lot better, or at least have this season but not as BAD

Yes I totally agree!!! When u said it’s like seeing your kids being tortured, that is spot on! We’ve gotten to know them so well throughout the whole story over a hundred chapters and then author comes out with this lol.

Also..You know what? I’m kinda nervous about the redhead. I feel like if authors make characters hot, it’s cuz they have plans to include them somehow (and omggg even he took his shirt off?I was like damn!!! LOL) but like I’m scared cuz like no way we can just forgive him and find him likable if author uses him as a second couple with beardy guy who’s watching him. I know it’s a long shot but I’m just thinking it cuz of how much author did to make him look hot lol

Regardless of whatever I’m reading, I hate when they try to forgive a rapist side character unless I’m reading straight angst (cuz then it’s what I’m expecting so who cares)
But dude no wayyyy they would do that, it was already weird they were making the cheating red head from the job season a side couple (which btw was CRAZY) so I completely agree they shouldn’t make him someone who’s likeable with a side couple, if that’s the case they are 100% setting it up for failure
In my headcannon I’m gonna say they made him hot so that it’s more bearable to read LMAO cuz they can’t make a rapist ugly or something
