Guys, it's not that deep. Let's take a deep breath. There's fanfiction, stop threatening the author and go write some fanfiction (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜...
They're pretty notorious. They've been at it since even before the story came to an end. Called the author a genius then when it ended and it unsurprisingly did not go the way they bitterly hoped, they started berating and harassing her and the story. Then to cope, they built this crackheadcanon based off inconsequential background assets from the story and ran with it and started shoving it down everybody's throats that there was a secret ending where Ian and Jo reunited after the story in Chicago, the canon ending be damned. XD Of course it's all over social media, the author sees it and had enough and shuts it down hence the crash out. It's all embarrassing af for them.
AND they don't have anybody to blame but themselves.
I have never thought wet sand was that good. But I was invested in the knowing how the story would end and I was sticking around to see if my predictions would come true. I swear both sides were praising Doyak and how great of a writer she was. And when Jo got dumped Jo stans lost their minds!!! and the funny thing is Jo knew he was going to get dumped. Jo was scare to even tell Ian he got accepted into college and would need to leave soon. Jo knew Ian was never fully present during their time together. Jo knew Ian still loves TJ. That’s why his first question to Ian was are you going back to him. Like this wasn’t even a surprised to Jo so why are his fans surprised when Jo saw it coming lol. Now that their wonder boy got dumped the story is the worst thing to exist I use to think Jo stans were hilarious, but it’s not longer funny. These people are downright deranged and I truly fear for Doyak.

Like the average reader could see that he was always yearning for TJ throughout the ENTIRE story. I went in as a casual reader and literally made a few initial comments that TJ and Ian were probably endgame and got called delusional and laughed at for even saying so lmfao. The irony of it all. And that's when I knew they were also crazy lol.
But yes Jostans with their tunnel vision and illiteracy saw what they only wanted to see. Like Jo was at best, a side piece that held on the longest. It really was not surprising TJ and Ian were endgame had they read it with a sensical mind.
Also there's a huge difference between critiquing the story and then doing so in bad faith like Jo stans. They're straight up moving like a cult and harassing Doyak and trying to damage the story because they didn't get the ending they wanted.
You can really only laugh because they truly are a pathetic bunch of losers. I'm glad Doyak spoke up for HER story and herself. And should anything actually happen to her, we know who to point the fingers at.
The funny thing is that they really think they’re better than TJ stans. I have yet to see a TJ Stan make death threats to Doyak. incite others to review bomb her story, want people to to shoot her at her fan meeting, like the amount of vile things they’ve been caught doing and openly doing is sickening. Yet I haven’t seen one SANE Jo Stan speaks out against these astrocious behaviors. Their silence equal complicity in my eyes. Like how do you have these bitches wishing death to actual people, wanting Doyak and TJ stans to be ganged raped and see nothing wrong with this behavior. Why are TJ stans the only one saying enough is enough. This is unacceptable all over a fucken story!!! Jo Stans go check your friends so we don’t have to.
Before I started reading I saw a bunch of edits of TJ on social media. I’m like who is this scrumptious man? So I went to read the comments section and saw how everyone was describing him as the toxic ex that couldn’t let Ian go. I’m like what a damn shame to have someone so hot be a dirtbag. I saw others pictures and videos of Jo and Ian and how there were comments praising Jo for being Ian’s knight in shining armor swooping in to heal him. I was not compelled to read wet sand whatsoever. So 2 years went by before I even started reading wet sand, my perception was already tainted by those comments I read about TJ in the past. So I binge read 50 chapters in one go on bato. I never read the comment sections so I had no idea the drama that was going on. I was expecting to hate TJ and I didn’t at all. And seriously from the beginning I had no doubt he was endgame. Ian and TJ just loved each other too much. And Jo seemed like a nice guy but not once did I ever think he had a chance. NOT ONCE!!! So when I was all caught up and had to wait 10 days for the next chapter to drop I started reading the comment section after every chapter and I was blown away by how many people hated TJ. Bato had a larger Jo Stan population in the comment section. They were saying TJ did this, TJ did that. And I’m like huh when did that happen so before saying anything I went back to re read wet sand like 4x cause I don’t want to speak on something I’m not entirely sure of myself. Did I miss something cause I don’t remember that happening. And everytime I read one of their comments it was CLEAR to me that Jo stans are illiterate. And it’s one thing if it were just a few of them, but nope they’re all fucken illiterate and selective readers. They cherry pick dumb things to focus on and ignore everything else that is actually important. That’s when I started engaging in the wet sand discourse and wow I’ve never met a more stubborn group of people. They would rather say the author is wrong and TJ stans are wrong than admit that maybe they misunderstood and misinterpreted the entire story and all 3 characters, especially their favorite Jo. Not one of them actually love and accept him for who he truly is.
Doyak even said that all 3 MC are deranged/morally gray.
Them: Jo is an angel sent from above. He’s a whole green forest.
Doyak: Ian is the worst
Them: Ian is just a poor innocent princess who was manipulated by TJ and needs rescuing.
Doyak: TJ is a not a bad person
Them: TJ is the devil incarnate, the scum of the earth.
The author spelled it out for you and they didn’t listen to her. It’s not Doyak’s fault they saw nothing wrong with any of Jo’s behavior and only saw TJ in a bad light. Like they chose to believe what they believed and continued reading with a bias and blinders on. You’ll never understand wet sand with that type of mindset. And it’s not even a difficult read if you actually read with an open mind and not self insert your beliefs into the story. The endgame was clear from the start.
Right I was honestly flabbergasted that so many thought Jo was going to be the endgame. Like were we reading the same thing??? Lol. Then it all clicked that a bunch of them were crazy, and I knew it was going to bite them in the ass when the story ended. Like the story isn't difficult to read, at all (it's why a lot were unsurprised at the endgame couple because Doyak intentionally lead readers in that direction). And it honestly is unfortunate that till this day, Jo stans are still on a smear campaign (against the story and tj in particular) and try to deter new readers in getting into it too. It's a solid story, like yes it has its flaws but it was overall a good read. I'm glad you gave it a shot as well.
And yes omgosh, thee way they just blatantly ignored the authors words if it didn't fit their agenda of the characters and the story. They really are embarrassing af.
