The duke was so incompetent and timid that his family got falsely accused of treason and got demoted into mere commoners. His family couldn't accept this and still thinks that they could afford a lavish lifestyle while treating the duke's wife like a maid. The duke prior to getting possessed was feeling so guilty to his wife because she was forced to marry him. In the end the duke offed himself off with rat poison. And tbe ml woke up in his body.

Now in the novel, if you actually look for the spoilers. You'll know that ml and the duke are actually the same person. Due to his guilt and desperate wish to be a better husband, here enters the system. The system then game him series of mission to complete but he would always fail. The system then wiped out his memories because it was holding him back from improving.

A crybaby black haired male lead who's also the duke. He got married to this super competent female lead and pities her wife who got married to an incompetent duke. The crown accused them of treason and was banished(?) Then ml drank rat poison and wished that he was a better husband for fl. Then some guy got reincarnated to ml's body and was from an apocalyptic world so he's well versed in swordsmanship and stuff. (Spoiler: the guy who got reinacrnated to ml's body was actually the same guy but got his memories wiped out cuz the system decided he wont improve himself until he forgot abt everything.

Why can't I find any good new romance manhwas? I feel like all the recent ones are just kinda boring? Like it's fine but it's not on the same level as death is the only ending and stepmother's marchen? I want to read some romance manhwa that makes u really immersed on what you're reading. The kind of stuff u don't realize it's already morning by the time u finish reading it.
