I've been putting this off for years just 'cause I know this was gonna be a sad read. After days without a good read, I finally decided to read this. I know that smth is up with his brother like I know there's smth sad abt the relationship between the 2 of them. I tried to stop myself from reading the spoilers but at ch 26, I CANNOT STOP MYSELF FROM THE ANXIETY. So I ended up reading the spoilers... And oh boy, I've been going through 5 stages of grief for this manhwa. BRO I CANNOT DEAL W THIS RN. LIKE DION AND CRUEL MY BABIES!!! THEY DON'T DESERVE ALL THIS SHIT

Same goes with the disciples. All it said is that he cares deeply for his disciples and is shown multiple times how protective he is to them but it's kinda lacking substance for me. Is it just me?? This manhwa is so good yet so tragic. It's just the main couple who'll get their happy ending. Lucas got an unrequited love and died. He felt so guilty for ML until his end. Ethan discovered that his older brother whom he idolized killed their father and then their youngest. Violet got her engagement w ML annulled by her father against her wishes and got forced into an arranged marriage (tho the guy was alright). And let's not forget ML and FL who had to go through a lot just to get their "happy ending"
That's life. This story feels so realistic, and I'm happy it shows that true love really does exist.
