Also, MC knew about the novel and poison so she knew the effects of the poison as well so why is she surprised that she turned younger? Or does it have a different effect on the villain and MC, like it could kill the villain but turned MC younger? Then MC did not know about another effect and thought it would kill her but still drank it? If anything she would just get a little sick. There was a slim possibility of becoming younger which that surprised her and also the fact that she didn't die because the poison is very bad.
