im reading the novel 3 times and i can tell you detail: they did have conflict and arguments because jun dont want to make up or be friend with yohan anymore and that make yohan really mad, the scene when they argue in the classroom he even throw a chair because he was so mad; BUT he never bully jun, he did ignore jun after the fight at his house, the others take this as a chance to bully jun, they hide jun's shoes so he have to wear slippers, thats why he stepped on broken glass and injured his foot, his injuries make yohan worries af so he initially talk to jun first but jun ignore him lol that just some of the details in the novel showing that yohan is worry about his legs and all, so how can he bully jun then?

so i will explain this base on the novel: 1. About the scene when 1 one the classmates hit Jun with the ball on purpose, Yohan saw that, he knew about that, (but they still in the cold war and none of them want to be the one who made the 1st move because of their big ego), Yohan then look at Jaehyun (jun's new helper/friend) if he will help Jun or not, Jaehyun seem scared of Yohan so he did not do anything to help Jun, eventually Jun go to the nurse by himself; but in the manhwa, Jaehyun actually approach Jun with care and Yohan also saw that. After JUn go to the nurse, Yohan decide to be the one who reach out 1st, he go to Jun to ask about his leg and his injuries but Jun ignore him.
2. About Jun's leg and others thing that classmates did: i dont think Yohan knew about what the others do, because if he knew, he would not have to ask JUn about his injured legs. Because he did not know that so he initially approach Jun to ask, if reader actually pay attention to details they would figure out.
3. So after he saw Jun injuries, Yohan may know about what others did to Jun so he initially approach Jun, talk to him, want to make up with him so "his life at school will be easier" (Yohan said that himself) because Yohan know that without his protection, the others may bully Jun again, but Jun so stubborn and he thinks that Yohan is the one who behind all of these bully things so he refuse to make up and that make Yohan real mad.
Other things happened and they make up you should read the novel and you will understand what im explaining here

The manwha is based off of the novel? Youre talking about the story in general, you never mentioned the manwha specifically. I’m just saying that it is objectively well written as someone who has read it. Even if you haven’t read the novel, the manwha too has good writing, just not in as much detail.

its not actually different from the novel. jun was getting bullied in the novel too but later he finds out yohan wasn’t the one behind it. the manga will probably go in the same direction too

there is slightly different, yohan never throw the ball to jun in public, he throw it to jun because jun was talking to jaehyun which make him jealous
