Honestly, I'd assume by now that Ruan Zheng would show at least some of his true colours, but it's taking so long to prove that Su Jiawen is Ruan. Only a tiny, almost insignificant moment, shows that he might not be as innocent as he seems. There have been more than 30 chapters I'd like for the story to start...

Ch 35
I'm starting to believe that Ruan is not Su Jiawen; maybe that was just a ploy in the beginning chapters to keep us readers guessing. The black-haired ml is odd; he sold Jiawen, and then, like the psycho, he is all prissy that he can't spend time with him or that Jiawen doesn't have him as his priority. He has issues and psychological issues; he needs a therapist. All in all, there's nothing of interest happening, the story is slow bearly any plot is happening, and the black-haired ml is learning what consequences are, so I guess that's something.
Also, I heard that in the novel, there's some action - not sure if we've passed it or were getting there. That's all for now.

Chapter 41
I don't know what to think anymore honestly, the chapters are a bit confusing and other than that it's just the seme forcing Jiawen to do what he wants even when he sees that he doesn't want to do it. At this point, I'd be shocked if Ruan is Jiawen because it's been 41 chapters, and he's done nothing constructive. I'm not even sure what the plot is anymore; It's just lovey-dovey-forced moments with the seme and then random explosions or shootings. I mean, it's action, I guess, but it's not even satisfying. I'm not sure what this story is trying to do, and honestly, as chapters go by, I feel myself not caring more and more. My expectations were probably too high going into this because I'm so disappointed. I expected cunning actions, betrayal, action in general, love, and confusion but all I got was a rich weirdo learning that selling people as objects when you love them is dumb, there are people like Jiawen who are just meh. He's just meh; he's literally a soft rabbit who'd never harm anything with those very few insignificant moments alluding that he might not be as soft. But 99% he is, so what's the difference? Anyway, this is dragging on longer than I thought. I might drop it because it's so boring; I'd rather watch the paint dry outside and see if I could touch more grass.
Lastly, if you like this, go ahead; it's just my opinion. I'm guessing and hoping that the novel is better, but I'm not sure I've only heard about it. So good luck to those who read this story.

I'll keep this short, despite what I said I'm back. Jiawen shows himself to be a good gunner, um, and the air around him changes? That's it bye

So it turns out that I was looking at this wrong the whole time; apparently, Su Jiawen isn't Ruan Zheng. They're two different people, only that Ruan got close to Luo ML under Su Jiawen's name.
So to make this clearer, Su Jiawen and Ruan Zheng, are two different people, but Su Jiawen got surgery to look like Ruan Zheng as he already looked similar to him in the first place.
So for now, we can say they're twins (not actually, but they look the same, so uh close enough).
As it is rn, Luo ML feels betrayed by Ruan Zheng as he used the fact that Su Jiawen is his "twin" and got close to him under that name. Idk how to feel

Chapter 49
Sigh, ok so identities are out in the wind and they attend some kind of banquet, they pretend to fight but they're not actually fighting. Something I didn't expect was that Ruan literally gave Luo ML a bj and in return for the bj, Luo ML have Ruan his personal number. So they're talking now and Luo ML with his usual bs be like take the dog as a breakup gift, Ruan's then like if that's how it be then keep it. Luo ML is definitely on drugs (like the story doesn't allude to or say it) but man is mentally unsound. One min he says he's in love but he doesn't know if it's real or fake next min he's mad that Ruan hasn't called him after that stunt (Luo ML saying he should take his dog as break-up gift).
Also I've just just realised the chapters are actually short, maybe is because I'm used to Chinese manhua but like compared to a regular manhwa them chapters are short.
