so glad this wasnt stretched over 100+ chapters. the first 30 chapters had me gritting my teeth out of frustration but the redemption arc was so good. you might hate it at first but once you finish it, you realize its a story about redemption and second chances. i love them and im glad theyre finally happy. i also love how natural it felt when they got back together and wasnt forced with cliche tropes, it hurted and felt good in the end. i also noticed the parallelism of kathryn and heins background surrounding annete's life. i sobbed my ass out when kathryn died. anyway good read!
