I think you’re frustrated as a reader bc you have third party perspective you know everything and everyone’s feelings thoughts and reasoning the seme doesn’t want to scare off or overwhelm the uke the uke doesn’t seem to have normal relationships or processing skills it’s hard for him to navigate himself now do I think he should have said that no because the uke is going to struggle and hold on to that in the future
