The relationship between MC and the little boy Lutz makes me incredibly uncomfortable. While there is nothing explicitly romantic, the small things that are hinted are SO WEIRD. First, MC BLUSHES when a 5 year old Lutz compliments her hair. Hold up.. that is a 5 YEAR OLD? AND YOU ARE A GROWN WOMAN? WTFFFF
The scene in which Lutz realises MC is not the same is also so weird, not because it’s romantic, but because the MC places immense pressure on a 7-8 year old child. INSANE. Lutz realises she’s not the same kid and questions her. When MC explains, she says she’ll disappear if Lutz wants her to, but that he’ll have to drag a corpse. WHAT THE FUCK? That is a child, a little boy, who is currently being asked whether or not he wants his friend to die.
Lastly, the scene that made me drop this BS was in chapter 32, where MC signs a magic contract with Lutz so only he has the rights to sell her products. First of all, signing contracts with a child should bring up blaring red flags for anyone from the 21st century. Sure it’s normalised in the world they’re in, but shouldn’t MC atleast be a little weirded out? It’s very immersion breaking. Secondly, there was a small prior conflict where the MC questioned the safeness around magic contracts. The rules for them are so vague that careless mistakes could KILL the contractees. You’d think she would feel some hesitation to sign a contract which could risk Lutz’s life, but no. There’s not a single bit of hesitation.
What a waste of my time, reading this garbage.
Don’t be fooled by the first 10 chapters, this isn’t just your typical villainess slop! It’s actually worse!
Atleast other villainess manwhas have cheap face slapping to enjoy, this just has a convoluted plot about relationship drama that happened 500 years ago. MC isn’t particularly smart so when she discovers things about the crappy “mystery” it’s not even satisfying. Her only ability is supposedly being one of the strongest, but she can’t use her powers because her body can’t handle it. Despite coughing up blood all the time, she’s in better health than ever! +100 plot armour ig.
The romance is basically non existent which I enjoyed, its just bittersweet memories of MCs past romance which never got to bloom due to interference from higher powers. You think MC might start anew with the crown prince, another desperate human driven to contracting a demon to save his own life. Despite the characters being flat af, their chemistry was enjoyable. So guess what the author did? They said fuck you to us and the black haired prince and suddenly wrote him out of the story using the cheapest excuse ever. Guess they had the brains to realise the real ML looked even more like plain rice and boiled chicken breast compared to the black haired prince. Cue the forced “romance” between MC and ML. Blegh, count me out
this would’ve been better with a few more chapters to resolve the conflicts between mc and ml, but it’s fine I guess. Typical weird BL shit with coercive sex (which id consider rape) and incestous dynamics. It’s odd that they try to make the ml seem so childlike when he’s a grown ass man??? I guess they did say he just turned old enough for “official guiding” but he’s still very… large.
main story was simple, rushed, yet cute. All the characters are very two dimensional and the only interesting issue the mc has, his relationship with his mother, is resolved with a single random conversation. Garam is… garam. Typical bpd ass side character to force conflict within the story who’s mentally ill traits disappear when his love interest appears.
I’m not going to bother reading more about Garam and his little boy toy so my assumptions could very well be disproven in later chapters, but from what we’ve seen Garam is meant to be a slutty playboy with a ton of people at his beck and call to fuck. You’re telling me he’s blushing over the most basic flirting? You seriously got flustered over the line “I’m only sweet to you” or whatever? Right…
Art style is okay and the sex scenes aren’t that hot. 5/10

It’s really annoying how theres this expectation of girls needing to have an insanely long routine to prep their appearance. Cos wtf do you mean she wakes up at 4am just to spend 2 hours on her appearance for SCHOOL. Also, she doesn’t eat a proper breakfast but the guy does. #noticing
I mean, its a phase no? When I was 12-16, I did take an hour + shower to go to school. As an adult, 30 minutes including the shower is all I have patience for. Its not an expectation, its a common phase.
Do you think your male peers went through a similar phase? I agree that it is a phase, but it is still pushed onto young girls via society’s expectations of them to participate in excessive beauty rituals. And the main way young girls are influenced is through the media they consume.
I see that youre saying and I agree BUT, and if you are also female, you may agree with me when we say boys are gross.(Its a general statement) but we do aslo ignore boys and men rituals. Location matters too. Example, I cant imagine being a south korean man.
Id say, feel comfort in knowing that there are "unreasonable" expectations in most societies. At least where im from its not legal to ask for a picture with your cv.
