The romance is basically non existent which I enjoyed, its just bittersweet memories of MCs past romance which never got to bloom due to interference from higher powers. You think MC might start anew with the crown prince, another desperate human driven to contracting a demon to save his own life. Despite the characters being flat af, their chemistry was enjoyable. So guess what the author did? They said fuck you to us and the black haired prince and suddenly wrote him out of the story using the cheapest excuse ever. Guess they had the brains to realise the real ML looked even more like plain rice and boiled chicken breast compared to the black haired prince. Cue the forced âromanceâ between MC and ML. Blegh, count me out
