Fucking god, that discussion about Bliss in chapter 35 that I missed? Now knowing that innocent Bliss has his own story, and adores his family, its actually so sad and disgusting what Grayson said about his own younger omega brother.
I haven't read much, but Grayson does not say as outrageous gross things in his own story, so I'm thinking they really tried to sanitise him in it. And I guess Dane is also there to beat him up.
After finishing this manhwa from manhuarmtl. I gotta say, the manhwa has a lot of half-baked threads of side plots. Like the second couple's story was very underdeveloped. The love triangle and sudden pregnancy feels sped through and done off screen. We didn't even get a proper introduction to the couple, its no wonder no one likes them! They're actually a waste of space.
Then there's Brett's brother, who they mention a lot in the beginning. Not much happened with him. Then there's the old omega actor? His history and current love drama. The secretary's history. I also feel like I barely learnt much on Brett's family, who seemed important but welp.
I did like the main couple, I just think there's a lot of random side stuff added into the story for no reason? Like why even bring up some stuff that's never going to be developed.
the side couple(s) had reasons to be included in the story, (scott is the bridge between brett and hayden) but they weren't very well integrated into the story as characters, which is where they fall flat and unloved by many readers. it's unfortunate because I can see the thought process behind them and how they work with the ideas the creator is exploring, but managing multiple characters and story threads is a skill this creator could use some work on.
Look, I understand dark romance and black flag MLs are a thing. But the development of this story felt so weird. It felt like they gave us a lot of time and story to see how good the 2nd ML and MC were? Like why? What's the point if he's gonna end up with the emperor? Shouldn't we be focusing on them and why we should root for them?
Idk the 'romance' focus of this story felt so weird to me. Now suddenly MC loves him?

something I noticed about this story is that everyone refers to Leenok as 'MC'. Is the MC not Jaeshin? Most of the story is from his POV... Leenok is the love interest male lead.
Shows they need to re evaluate how they interpret the story. Also cos its common to have the mc as the uke that they assume so
