It's been a few chapters now where I've tried to give it its chance but honestly the more it goes on, the less I vibe with the characterisation and the various tropes coming into play. Not my cup of tea so I'll take my leave...
If they were going to go down the overused overrated rape route, I don't get why they pretended to make a manhua about BDSM... This isn't BDSM for one sec, even with a rookie. It was at the beginning but it clearly derailed fast and only was about BDSM in shallow aspects. It's just an excuse. I've been considering dropping it for a few chapters, well ch 30 seals the deal... The seme doesn't even feel in character with himself from the beginning it's so weird how inconsistant that is.
this level of raw unhealthiness is so realistic, i really am stunned in a good way. like it shows the author knows about this and is really going in depth with all the complexity of their struggles and mental anguish, it's amazing. Im not always into triggering mental health tropes because sometimes they're just slapped there for drama sake (sometimes, don't come for me ;;) but here it's really handled in all its aspects and it's impressive. It makes me very invested!
