If you find certain manhwas toxic, then it's best to avoid them altogether. I don't see the distinction between toxic tops and rapists because they both exhibit toxic traits within a toxic genre. It's not about comparing the level of toxicity of the seme; the point is that both are inherently toxic.
i don’t disagree with you, but it’s challenging to avoid what most bl offer in that case. the problem with this story, isn’t so much that it’s toxic as it is that the victim will eventually end up with the abuser, they will have a fantasy ending, and then it will end.
despite that, it’s off to compare ‘ toxicity ‘ to rapist, even if they both are inherently toxic, they’re also different from one-another and not really comparable. someone having toxic behavior due to the fact they can’t commit is different from what is going on in the story.

Avoiding such genres isn't difficult if you pay attention to the tags. While my comparison might be wrong and I admit that, it's common for toxic genres to exhibit extreme toxicity. There are many manhwas that are even more toxic than this, and I'm not trying to defend anything because there's nothing to defend. If you choose to read a comic tagged with rape and toxicity, you should expect to encounter those themes, period.
a lot of popular mainstream bl though has some type of toxicity in it, whether it’s miscommunication or commitment involvement, it’s always something, and hard to avoid completely. right, people are free to read what they want even if they don’t enjoy it..there isn’t anything someone can do about it. you can question why, but in the end it’s there choice whether or not they’d like to read something they’re complaining about.
There's a concept of spreading hate vs critiquing. If someone voices a critique like "I don't like it because it's been done before and the plot has flaws," I'd consider and respect that. But if someone illogically complains about a toxic genre for being toxic, that's just spreading BS.

I'm just advocating for people to stop harassing the author over their dislike of the toxicity in the comic. It's illogical to target the author when the comic is clearly tagged as toxic. This unnecessary drama is jeopardizing the author's work due to the actions of stupid individuals. Im not saying youre stupid I meant the harraser.
