This was a really good read. I absolutely love love it and I think this is something I wouldn’t reread. The first time is amazing and the way it ended. I agree I was crying bawling my eyes out but perfect ending maybe in like 1020 years when I forget it then I could reread it, but this is something I would not want to repeat because the first time is perfect

Mc soul was separated from his body after his death in his past life creating two versions of mc, one is the soul (Muni-past life mc) and the other is the body (Giyun-present time mc). As for the ml (Yitae) it’s a bit more complicated cause there are technically 3 different versions, 1) the real Yitae 2) Muni possessing Yitae’s body 3) Young Master possessing Yitae’s body. You can understand which one it is by the eye color, purple is real one the other two have yellow eyes. There is also Young Master 2.0 that is getting controlled by Muni.
In their past life the complete Muni was completely in love with his young master (who then reincarnated as the ml Yitae) but young master didn’t love him back and he basically left him die, then the Young Master fell in love with Muni, cause he’s a freak and he thought that Muni looked hot while he was dying, so he tried to do some weird ritual to resuscitate him or smth? But the ritual failed and that’s what caused the split between the soul and the body. After everything happened only the body (Giyun) was able to resuscitate, while the soul (Muni) remained wandering enraged by the Young Master (reincarnated in Yitae) and to be freed from this earth and the underworld he needed to make real Yitae, and therefore Young Master, fall in love with him (as the soul).
Back to the present, Yitae and Giyun work at the same company and Yitae instantly falls in love with Giyun, because Giyun was the husk and past Yitae only wanted that.
Muni then possesses Jumin’s body (he’s the twink we saw at the start of the story) because he thinks that Jumin is his other half. After possessing Jumin he mind controls Yitae (2nd Yitae I mentioned at the start) and he forces a relationship to make the two love with each other. But since Jumin’s isn’t Giyun (half of Muni, reincarnated husk) it doesn’t work.
Then some shit happens, tbh a lot of it is just smut, and the story gets more complicated: Giyun keep trying to ignore everything that is happening to and around him, he’s also getting pestered by the 4 Yitaes and getting his guts rearranged by the 3 possessed ones.
So Muni starts getting angry and after realizing that Giyun is his other half he wants to make Giyun and Yitae fall in love with each other to break his curse and free his soul.
From my understanding in the last chapter it’s Giyun and the spirit of the real Young Master.
I kinda had to cut off some details but the main story is this.

So it was supposed to be a happy ending. HOWEVER, the author decided to come back with a new season full of angst. I’m not gonna spoil it for you, just so you know something happened (not between the couple) that led them to split up. Since then nothing is moving forward also Taesung wants his man back. If I were you ngl I would wait for this season to end.

i read it all in one sitting and no, other than the art i see no point in reading unless you like the never ending theme of SA and boundaries being crossed even between literal family. you would have to set all ur morals aside to read this one because it feels like a crime to indulge in this read

The pros are: the art is pretty, and the political plot is ok. BUT the cons? Jeez, the grooming, the horrendous treatment of sexual assault, the age gaps (both biological and psychological)... and the “third couple” is incest so (￣∇￣") it has A LOT of trigger warnings
