If a yaoi is named after a food, or has some sort of food-themed name, then usually 4/5 times you can guess what type of story it is. For example:
Peach - somewhat silly
Apple - more hardcore and action packed than originally thought
Alcohol- hit or miss. Usually extremely dark in some way. Step lightly
Sweets- more family/school oriented. Lighthearted but fun
Vegetables- either weirdly slow burn or about actual farming (unless it specifically states in title, or it has eggplant in title)
Sugar- similar to the sweets one, but can be more adult-rated
Any other mentions?
Holy sh**. I’m now just waiting to see if his new change changes anything with cosplays or not. But then again, not a lot of people are lovin’ the doo.
I honestly enjoy how this includes stuff about Covid instead of full on ignoring it. Adding it into the story just makes it better
Trying to find shoujo. All I remember is that the fl has a bunch of whale plushies but doesn’t actually like whales. Her father does.
Not sure if I need a husbando, waifu, or just a cat
Love it how his transformation automatically shaves his face. Lol
Has anyone else noticed the current anime op trend? Basically they (animators and animation companies) are now having fun messing arpund with background and space around the main characters. For instance, the Apochary Diaries op utilized blank spaces to help give a myseterious vibe. Undead Unluck, on tbe otherhand, utilizes constant background movement to show how bizarre the entire show is. Any other comments?
The fact that most of us are probably still reading this just bc we want to see the MC’s face. Smart move author. Smart move.
I think it would be hilarious if someone made a short anime that features two different sports teams in a game: one team from a high-drama shounen sports anime, and another from a shoujo rom-com anime. Just the clashing of intense characters to handsome men with sparkles surrounding them would be hilarious. Thoughts?
