It really hurt tho that prior to the stabbing, it seemed like he was going to take up Eiji’s offer and go to Japan. I‘ve accepted his death bc that was the only way to truly release him from all the pain but a part of me still wishes that he could have gotten a taste of the ordinary, crime-free life in Japan with Eiji even if just for a little bit.
I've watched the first season of the anime but I´d rather read the manga. Can anyone tell me the chapter that the second season starts?

I wouldn't recommend that (￣∇￣") there are a lot of plot differences that affect the story, not sure what the season 1 anime creator was thinkin but they really changed the story, so even starting at the beginning, after a bit of reading, there will be a lot of new content. However if you really want to skip, chap 32 starts the gourmet eating arc which has a lot of difference, and chapter 50 starts the kaneki kidnapping where the major plot differences from the anime start, so at the least I would start at one of those two spots so you're not lost through the rest of the manga, though starting at the beginning would be best. YES I didn’t wanna read it at first cuz it was kinda weird at first ? But I decided to continue reading and I never regretted that decision because this was very beautiful and the character development was amazing! I loved the plot and got attached to many of the characters. It was honestly an amazing ride! I’d say this is definitely in my top ten . This manhwa is a masterpiece
It is definately worth the read, the development and realism from both the characters and storyline is exceptional and wonderful. Gosh, this has one of the best character growth I have ever seen, it also conveys the beautiful theme of "relationships that just weren't meant to happen". I found it truly a masterpiece from start to finish but I have heard that the start can be seen as a bit boring but it gets much interesting~!
Its actually completed, I mean it depends on your taste, you might not be satisfied with the ending but it takes you on a rollercoaster emotions, its great for a change
