I love being able to see when characters have their flaws and depict certain aspects about them. First of all, you can see how he has a very naïve view of love and doesn’t understand that which is obviously what his mother is trying to get him to understand. In this chapter, he says he needs to sincerely fall in love with someone and then eat their heart while the person is alive. Not knowing that guess what, when it comes down to it, when you do fall in love with the person you’re not going to be able to do that because you love them you don’t want to kill them.
