Idk if its just me, but the sudden flip in mcs personality towards ml caught me off guard. It looked rather forced by the author. He’d been cold and uncaring towards ml the entire time… Then he’s surprised why ml is so cautious and walking on eggshells around him after finally winning him over? After all the time he waited for him and chased after him being constantly turned down? Honestly, we’ve only seen how devoted ml was to our mc. But there wasn’t many instances where mcs feelings towards ml was ever really revealed. All we got from him was “hes cute”, like thats it? He never even outwardly stated he liked him. In fact, I remember him telling ml that hes not even gay so it’d nevr work out. Then Its like “Meh, I’ll give him a chance” Now all of a sudden he wants ml to cling to him after showing repeatedly how much he disliked it or didn’t care for it, and is suddenly initiating kissing out of the blue. I don’t think we ever got to explore mcs emotions as much especially when hes always drawn with such a blank expression. I think the author put all of their lore and energy into ml instead of mc. Feels like whiplash and off balance.

Is it bad that I like Haseong wayy more? He’s definitely crazy but also devoted to MC. I kinda have a thing for psychotic male leads. ML seems so boring… Does he get any character development as time goes by? Then again I’m only on chapter 28 rn, so maybe Haseong gets worse

From the cover and spoilers its obvious he’s supposed to end up with the weirdo thats after his crush, and they look cute but after reading its clear that guy is a weirdo and an asshole. And mc is just embarrassing himself… Am I supposed to read it more or something? I need someone’s opinion before I continue or drop so I don’t waste my time. I’m fine with spoilers.

What is up with uijin and saha ????? Uijin knew saha lee was after mc and did nothing at all even after knowing he was going to harm him? I can see why hajin said his little brother isn’t trustworthy. If he still likes Saha even after he killed all those villagers and wanted his own brother dead… That’d be crazy. And Saha knew uijin since he was practically a toddler so it’d be even weirder if they ended up together. I hope it doesn’t go down that route.

I’m so sorry, It was entertaining and I really tried to stick with it… But theres just too many embarrassing moments. I keep skipping them but it genuinely gets to a point where I cant handle this shit anymore. And Jinwu is the biggest asshole ever idk how he could even like him… Standards where?? Daehan just keeps embarrassing himself over and over again its like a humiliation ritual. I think the author has a humiliation Kink honestly.

This is dumb. If the evil ophelia in the og novel didn’t get a divorce, what makes you think that acting like her would get you one? Do authors get off on making the female leads dumb or something? This trope never ends.

This was a surprisingly comfortable read. Most romance authors would always try to make their characters extremely dumb, and make communication almost non existent, in turn making their work painfully impossible to read. I was afraid this one would go down that route for a minute, but this was way better than I expected. The art and the meaningful moments made this bittersweet til the end. Not flashy enough to stick with you, but it gets you in your feels enough to always recognize it. I hope to see more of them in the future.

Why do these chapters feel so damn short??

Typical idiotic female lead syndrome. Why do they make the females who are supposedly adults and supposed to be smarter than the og… Just so dumb??
