On chapter 3 and I don’t like it already. The comments are saying its good but I’m not sure if we’re reading the same thing?? From the cover and spoilers its obvious he’s supposed to end up with the weirdo thats after his crush, and they look cute but after reading its clear that guy is a weirdo and an asshole. And mc is just embarrassing himself… Am I supposed to read it more or something? I need someone’s opinion before I continue or drop so I don’t waste my time. I’m fine with spoilers.
Believe it or not, I thought the same thing at first. But after finishing the story, I can say that it is indeed worth it. I'm not going to say it's a perfect story, but it's good. You'll understand the characters' personalities better later on, and I believe it will start to make sense why they are the way they are. It's almost like when we first meet someone new, we act one way, and as we get closer to that person, we show our true personality. In the end, I can say that they all have their issues, but I like them all, even the ones who can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, because I think everyone is a bit of a jerk (not in a criminal way ofc). Anyways, I'd tell you to keep reading. It'll pay off.

Pfffff idk how old u are but... it's actually pretty realistic. And there's no villain here. Like I said, they're all a little jerks. Tho I understand them all. The ML is not a jerk hahahaha he's antisocial and introvert, like REEEEEALLY. And his friend... well, he likes MC more like a brother, and he wants to see him doing well, but not by his side. At the same time, there's a bit of ego involved. Also, the MC is quite an idiot sometimes too. In the end, you'll look at them all as those idiotic friends you adore. Hahahahaha

I read up to chapter 33 and still going. You were definitely right about getting to know the characters thing. From the way it was going at first they both seemed evil until they explained their reasons and actually didn’t have that bad intentions. Glad I continued reading cause when I drop anything after it leaving a bad impression It always eats at me and annoys me. So far its pretty good.

Idk if its just me, but the sudden flip in mcs personality towards ml caught me off guard. It looked rather forced by the author. He’d been cold and uncaring towards ml the entire time… Then he’s surprised why ml is so cautious and walking on eggshells around him after finally winning him over? After all the time he waited for him and chased after him being constantly turned down? Honestly, we’ve only seen how devoted ml was to our mc. But there wasn’t many instances where mcs feelings towards ml was ever really revealed. All we got from him was “hes cute”, like thats it? He never even outwardly stated he liked him. In fact, I remember him telling ml that hes not even gay so it’d nevr work out. Then Its like “Meh, I’ll give him a chance” Now all of a sudden he wants ml to cling to him after showing repeatedly how much he disliked it or didn’t care for it, and is suddenly initiating kissing out of the blue. I don’t think we ever got to explore mcs emotions as much especially when hes always drawn with such a blank expression. I think the author put all of their lore and energy into ml instead of mc. Feels like whiplash and off balance.

i havent read it yet so I don’t know for sure but it could also just be the way they adapted it. I felt like it was a bit sudden too but I think his inner monologue or emotions could have been more explained in novel rather than the manhwa

The novel dragged the chasing arc very long after the flashbacks but it seems more the manhwa some of it was removed and it has faster pace compared to novel (at least for the getting tgt arc)
