I felt conflicted the entire time because watarun is so hot & I always love black-haired characters the most... I lowkey liked him even more when he showed his cunning side. I usually hate stories where a character is initially in love with someone else because I can't help thinking of the "what-ifs". Like what if this was an angsty bl in which watarun & miki were endgame & it showed us their childhood backstory and how watarun realizes he likes miki after getting jealous of ikkei, a side character. I hate myself for thinking this way. Don't misunderstand though, I was rooting for the main couple the entire time & I'm happy for them!!! <3 I'm just mentally ill & have weird thoughts about alternate universes
