I've been reading this for almost 10 years and it became one of my favorite comics. We had long dry periods but I understood it. Drawing and writing a comic is a lot of work. And we are privileged that Old Xian is uploading it for free too. One chapter per month was fine, especially because the story followed an actual plot. Now we are kind of flowing in space where the plot is somewhere in the distance but not in focus. Every few months we get super short chapters that feel more like specials every time than proper chapters that follow the story. After a decade for the first time I feel a bit disappointed. Every other day Old Xian announced another Mo Guanshan Sandwich giveaway but no updates in several months.. it's getting tiring bro. I want to leave this comic behind but I can't because I feel so connected to it after 10 years, what should I do with this dilemma?

I just got this thought when his dad showed "Nonouki Sama" a picture of new born Hikaru. After that, dad freed Nounuki Sama, whatever that exactly means.
So Nonouki liked Hikarus dad and was freed at the time it met Hikaru. Then why did it take his body? Here's my thought: Hikaru went up the mountain during a storm, right? Maybe he slipped or something else happened to him. He was almost gone but Nonouki Sama recognized him as Indos son that it saw on the picture. Now that it has a free will, maybe it took Hikarus body before he actually died, meaning Hikarus consciousness is still somewhere in his body. His soul didn't leave because Nonouki Sama is like a seam that keeps body and soul together.. And it did that because it really liked Hikarus dad and had no other real purpose maybe? I'm not sure, just an idea

I like that the villagers actually act realistic and like normal people would. They didn't believe that company first and stood on Hikarus side. Then they were scared and shocked. And then they tried to protect Yoshiki from potentially doing something stupid. Really refreshing when background characters act normal

To be so for real the author genuinely nailed the father's appereans because you can see that Jinhyeong bean looks a lot like his dad. The single hairs in the front, the bedroom eyes and looking down while judging somebody in their minds.. Especially when Jinhyeong is masking he looks a lot like his asshole father
