I hate to say it, but after saving screenshots of the guys body I noticed how inconsistent his nipple shape, body shape, muscle shape and even his face is next to the other screenshots I looked over for the last month for science (I'm not going to bother searching for which chapter it is, sorry). There is a sex scene where he literally looks like someone else every panel while she is consistent.
I'm sorry but either he's AI assisted or the artist isn't used to drawing attractive guys and keeping them consistent (or they were rushed which led to the complete inconsistency of the guy which feels stupid to say after writing, considering how detailed the woman is; though I did see others mentioning the woman's breasts size changing unless that was another comic)
7ch Who wrote her to go through the front door of the estate in her DISGUISE???? There was no editor present I see.
I hate the system window stuff. It interrupts everything. Him talking and thinking about it is so annoying.
I wish they executed the system stuff better, like in GED, the S-Class Lady and some others I've read.
I almost always ALWAYS FALL FOR MY ZODIAC OR GEMINI OR LEO! What the f! Yeonwu why again? The hell is this!
I just reread this for the first time in years. It's a very cute, straight forward, light hearted, villainess romantasy story. It has a happy ending.
It's a nice break from action, thriller, sad stories. It didn't embarrass me while reading, like it did others (I've read far more embarrassing stories and scenes).
Is this the secret menu? Because I didn't know uncensored was even an option!
I get more Yeonwo screenshots. This is what life is all about! YOLO THE ROLLO!
Reaches end of chapter 48:
"DAMNIT!!!!!!!"
First time I've ever only thought that at the end of a chapter. No other thoughts. (╬ ̄皿 ̄)
Way to many tea parites and girl time. Sadly I got bored with the comic around chapter 50 or so. I read Sica Wolf by the same author and liked it so I thought I'd like this one.
Maybe the adapter team for Sica Wolf shaved off all of the fat from the novel or something. The quite moments were nice and didn't over stay their welcome. In Sigrid the quite moments are short, but so frequent that the story loses momentum.
I like the characters and I understand why the quite times are there; to build them up and make you care and for Sigrid to learn and grow into accepting her feminine side.
I feel that the story is well written but seriously drags at times. I saw the team refer to the Crows Prince which also suffered from a drag problem.
I don't care for this comic. Something is wrong with the way the main characters are interacting for me. I love gender swap stories, but it's off for me? (I've just started scrolling to the end of the chapter)
I think I'll bench it until a later date and come back.
I tried to read this, but it feels very clumsily written. The earth isn't filthy scene is what got me to stop reading. The covering of the Emperor's mouth and the dumping of the water bucket on her.
It's not even played up as comedy. There's no humor and it's taking itself seriously.
I re-read this today and liked it more than when I first read it! I had mixed feelings back then. I remember when everyone was complaining about the fl crying and I felt that they were wrong, I still hold the opinion. (she witnessed horrible things happening to the man she loved and was suddenly thrown in front of him. wouldn't you cry too?)
I'm glad that it wasn't bloated and only had what was truly needed. Like Sica Wolf, only what is needed.
I just re-read this last week, read it for the first time in 6yrs.
I don't like it as much as I did when I first read it. It's still well written and executed, but something is missing for me? I guess it's my age or the fact that I've read comics that I liked far more over the last 6yrs?
I just re-read Sica Wolf after this one, which I also hadn't touched for years and like it way more. I had just read The Beast Tamed by the Villainess before either of those comics and loved it.
Maybe I just prefer the romance genre over this one which should have been something like slice of life, because there's barely any romance at all. The main focus of the comic is her relationship with her father and sister. Sure she has interactions with both ml, but they felt hollow and the 2mls felt shallow as hell.
It literally ended with her not having chosen either aside from a childrensbook side story where she married both and another where she was with the mage on a date.
Still a good one worth reading!
Wow I'm shocked that I remembered the biggest plot point of the story! How crazy! Well I'm into that genre so it makes sense.
I'm gonna be honest. The plot is very interesting, but maybe this shouldn't have had smut? I love her being revealed as the protagonist! I didn't see her hair turning blue as Tiyens eye color and system windows, until after her hair turned white and blue. It was only now when she says it that I understand that both her and Tiyen aren't from that world making them above it. That's why she's the Celestial maiden, the ruler of that world. Neat!
The smut kinda held it back? Maybe Tiyen being graped and the holy maiden being a sex fiend was too important? Maybe they could have just given heavy hints to those things though, but she helped heal Tiyens mental health through sex?
Her being the protagonist reminds me of Shulk in Xenoblade. He was technically supposed to be the new god but I'm pretty sure he said no right?
My eyes always glue to her cupcake skirt. I like ruffles! Infinity Nikki uhhh that one unicorn outfit dress
Lang Xiao! UGHHHHH COME BACK TO US SWEET OLD LANG XIAO!
I took a short break from the comic, because I don't like Ceres current behavior and was hoping for progress.
I liked how in chapter 51 the new artist was trying to replicate the old art style, so I was fine with that. I open latest chapter 75 and now that attempt is completely gone and Ceres & Diarin look awful. I guess I'm putting this on hiatus until it's completed so I can marathon it and not have to deal with the disappointment of the art style getting worse.
If the comic had bad art style from the beginning I wouldn't have minded, but it's disappointing combinded with the way they're doing panels, handling comedy combined with Ceres current behavior. It feels like a different comic and not in a good way. (An example: "I Tamed the Broken Male Lead with My Fist" art style has not been very good from the beginning, but I do like the story and the art isn't enough to repel me away)
Wow I love this one! A good toxic ML and FL growing into better versions of themselves and healing! I recommend giving it ago and don't worry, because they make up and apologize to eachother for everything and admit their love for eachother.
Nothing extreme happens in the current timeline, but there are very dark themes mentioned and the bad things that happened in the past.
Basically exactly what I needed right now! The perfect balance of romance, betrayal and scary stuff! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Well written and executed! I marathoned it today.
(If you read to the end you'll understand how Magnus was actually feeling since the beginning about Ilyana and why her leaving was so hard on him, he was in love with her)
So she knew the knight that was with them was a woman and never revealed this to us the audience? Then what was the point in the secret reveal to us that the knight was a woman wearing bandages to flatten her breasts?
Why are we getting this women being put in power exposition dump only now? I guess the fat cousin's sexism didn't really need explained until now? I didn't know it was purely sexism before which would have been nice context and would have made them standing up to him more impactful.
Also, the Empress regent's gender constantly changing is annoying.
