Am I the only one that "liked" Regef? From my perspective both Regef and Kayena are dealing with trauma, but what makes them so different is that Kayena had love as a child while Regef didn't. Since he was born the emperor was trying to murder him, so obviously he's messed up. This doesn't condone his current actions, but I feel sympathetic for his situation. It makes me sad that he never really felt happiness in his life. and the ending sucked, I didn't understand what was happening. I wished they gave Regef a tragic ending, his life was already miserable from the start, so I think it would've made sense if he died after killing the emperor.
I feel so bad for Eckel. Out of all of them he met the worst end and was just manipulated by Penelope and Yvonne. They both only see him as a means to get what they want and don't care about his emotions (mainly since Penelope didn't see him as a real person just a fictional character).

Right?? He's such a pitiful guy... He was literally a slave who didn't even have the power to make decisions for himself, and the one time he did, he was being brainwashed by Yvonne. Like, I love Penelope and hope she gets the happiest of endings, but Eckles seriously deserves better too.
Forgot all about this story and was excited to see the update, just to see this. :0 Why do they always mess up the plot?!?! WHY? Who wants the read this, draw this?!?
An amazing read! There are so many rewritten plots that are overused to the point that I no longer want to read any mangas or manhwas. But this one is just tragic, I couldn't help but hate the ending, but it was due to my desperate want for a happy ending. She had suffered over and over and all four families were overcome by greed. The ending makes sense even though I wish it didn't. Would love a happy side story, in an alternate universe where she could be happy.
Am I the only one that found this kind of decent. Yeah Irl anyone who meets someone like him should stay away, but compared to other mangas that have the same vibes as this one he at least ended up committing himself and learned. While other mangas the guy thinks of nothing and continues to fuck multiple women with no regrets.
Did he learn tho?? He loved her back when they were in school but he still cheated what makes you think this will be any different...
I want to like this since the art is so pretty. But It's hard to read through, when the plot is a mess. I don't really understand neither of the main characters personality and some plot points just feel so out of place.
