Did the last three(?) panels actually happen? Girl? Seriously? Isn't that the point where you realize "ah- I should learn how to ask for consent" and not bring a stranger into his home!?!? Tell me she didn't actually say that and its just her imagining how upset Dohyun would be.

This is the type of manga that I need to read again. Not in an exagerrated way, but simply because... I READ THIS IN A HURRY! I need to buy a copy too honestly. I want to read it again and again, because I have a feeling there is an answer here that I've been looking for.
I have read up until chapter 43 of this manga, and this is my take on what the story potrays.
I know this isn't the best, but for me, though I do not know how to explain it, this story has been quite a fresh read.
Every action has consequences; every word plays a part. Eremia understands both tradition and the need for modernity to come about. Tradition and culture are part of the people's identity. But the ideals, like misogyny and racism—these are part of what should be changed, erased even. And Eremia understands this. Lord Ostanea is a victim of such traditions; years upon year of hiding because of them do not disappear just because he became high-standing. It is the very reason why he chose to do it. And Freya understands this well, not because she loves him, but because it is human to feel anger, sadness, and love. But again, all of it comes with a price that must never be overlooked.
Sure, the author could have done better in portraying such deep and fragile messages, but it is there. The need for tradition and modernity to co-exist. The need for religion and science to become whole yet still separate concepts.
From how I understand it, no single gender nor race was blamed, and we can see that through Eremia, the main character. It is their circumstances, the society and toxic idealisms built that should be blamed. But that does not mean they are blameless. Individual people acted, and individual egos willed it; that is not blame but fault, a sin that can be redeemed—may it be in life, death, and after.

I can imagine, if this was a novel, Tei would be saying in his head "Shuraka, I yearn for the sword." Then, a sassy sound comes up and it's just Tei being Tei. GOD, I LOVE HIM.
This manga has given me a gift that I absolutely would like to pursue. I'll come back here every five years to remind myself of this present that I really, really needed. See you again, Keito Aoyama-san.
The story centers around Keito Aoyama, a former famous child actress. Due to a childhood incident, s...

This is a story made by someone who absolutely understands how love feels like. It feels so warm and breathtaking and loving. They must have been in a relationship, may it be romantic or not, where they genuinely knew what they were feeling.

*This was marvelous, truly. I have been searching for tales as heart-aching as "My Beloved Opressor" was for me and it served quite the cake! Of course, different title means different flavor, but the glee is all the same.
Why do I feel like the side-story is going to end with a panel showing us Taesun as old as his grandpa laying on a bed they built on the mountain while Geumrya and the Twins all look young and healthy, crying for their dying father, then suddenly, in the afterlife, the next panel would be Taesun being a child again, reunited with his grandpa and parents?
Then, in the very far future, we see Geumrya in his most natural form, joining Taesun while the twins look up with a family of their own (or simply themselves, they don't need to have a family by biological or emotional means if they do not want to, what I mean is their heart, get it?) Then the last panel would be Taesun and Geumrya smiling, together.
That's our man alright! I mean, that's Chase's man, but you get what I mean. GO JOSHUA BAILEY! STEP ON THAT SON OF A... YES!
I would rather have you spend even a whole year in a hospital getting better, rather than have you drop this story. That would be beyond torturous...
For those who felt hesistant to continue, I too, felt the same, and am proud to have resisted my vascillation. I may not have wept, but my heart ached as some dire scenes reminded me of my parents. And similar to them, just as John's family have danced, flowers and letters were shared in mine.
This truly was a gift for my current time. (And perhaps this would convince my mother to give comics a try haha.)
After re-reading a couple of times, there really never was a single second that he enjoyed the threesome, didn't he? He always have a pained expression as though he can't accept the fact Sunhwa may not turly love him as he hoped at the beginning. Perhaps, due to his 4 or 3 past romantic relationships (this is based on an extra art which I am assuming to be true), he wanted to ignore it and exist in that illusion, that boundary of delusion.
I wasn't sure before because I always had a nagging thought in my head that "Nanjo-ssi loves Sunhwa, so perhaps he did like it for a moment" but he really didn't. The worse thing is, I think the reason why he accepted bottoming for Mokyeon-ssi is because he thinks he amplified Sunwha's suffering.
I am guessing that Nanjo-ssi knew from the beginning that Sunhwa has been tricking him, but during their first time, maybe Sunhwa was incredibly drunk, that something of his past spilled out, which made him careful and loving towards him at the start.
To lead a highly-successful business, one must be competent if it was done without nepotism, which I assume to not have happened to Nanjo-ssi. When Mokyeon-ssi exemplemarily "complimented" him, he must have caught on the fact that they, Mokyeon-ssi and Suhwa, both think he is quite the fool.
I wonder if in season 2, we would not only get more insight on how Nanjo-ssi sees their situation, but also to Sunhwa's past assuming that he started looking into it before their supposedly last threesome.
