I think it's the way he said "I would date a man if it's you" that triggered him. Plus he said that the toxic ML is the same? Ur the same as him then!
Also, he is his friend, most people don't date friends. Some people said that MC going to the military is him running away, I think he is building a healthy distance from his current situation. We should appreciate his proactive efforts rather than staying and allowing the situation to eat him up. Good for him. I hope he come back with a healthier mindset (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Please read chapter 8. Also, don’t forget that MC and ML are also friends. I agree with you though that the MC is building a healthy distance from his current situation but chapter 8 just kinda contradicts the purpose of it, maybe can be brushed off as a drunken mistake but still, he’s stacking up the events he needs to forget while distancing himself from the current situation. I’ve read bl plots better than this, I’ve also read worse ones BUT this is just such a push and pull but still tolerable.
I’d say maybe people should give this a chance because it seems like the author is kinda new to storytelling and can improve. Besides, this only has 8 chapters as of now.
Oh btw, I’m voicing out my opinions just like how you voiced out yours. I don’t wanna fight ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Hahaha for sure nw. I love sharing opinions with people, and I love being wrong.
In my opinion tho, I dont see the ML and the MC'S relationship as friends. They "labelled" themselves as friends but they both don't see each other as friends. MC will not treat the friend the same way as the ML, they're totally different to the MC. Just responding to the ch. 8 reaction, u never blame the drunk person for their actions. If they're drunk, there's no consent. Yes he made the first move, but that's his automatic reaction seeing the person he likes infront of him. ML shouldn't be bringing him in a love hotel. That's technically r*pe. MC says he wants to separate but Ofcourse he still likes him, his feelings didn't evaporate. Hence why he wants and needs that distance. Happy Sharing!

In the other universe, you were not happy.
The deja vu smell is the smell of your r*pist in an alternate universe

OMG...WAIT THIS MAKES SENSE, i've never thought of it like that. I just thought maybe he "lost his memories" like the cliche story or like they met as kids? And they talked abt mc's interests thats why ml knows what he likes like some another cliche story. BUT putting it into this perspective would be such a GOOD plot for the story but does that mean the ml knows what he's done before? Cuz like he keeps saying "i was waiting for this" or like "we've met again" stuff. BUT OMG THIS IS SO GOOD
I love overthinking MC that has a misunderstanding, but because they don't want to have an unhealthy mindset about it that they ended up just accepting and moving on. I know communicating is the healthier way and that would resolve all the problems but as someone who struggles with confrontation. Instead of talking about it, I just fix my own way of thinking about it and move on. It limits the stress and the struggle and you end up feeling better in the end. I love that he actually felt better after resolving his issue. He saw it as a " me problem". Hahahah
true, like at first i’d be frustrated looking at them creating these misunderstandings but then honestly maybe i feel frustrated because he’s doing the same thing i always do and it’s a wake up call for me like “damn i’m THIS insufferable huh” like if it works out then that’s good but if it doesn’t, oh well, what can i do
If I was in his shoes...I would regret breaking up with him and cheating with him. Like sir has some nice things ლ(´ڡ`ლ) and drinking his regrets as he watches the hidden video he took.
I would do that too!!!
I would be like " The f*ck did I do!!! I'm such a dumb*ss!!! I suck!! An unredeemable *sshole!!!" Yep! That's what he is.
I get why people find this "healthy", because they're "communicating" and the Seme is asking for permission. (I also like this series, btw) But, if you read between the lines especially during the visit with the Uke's grandma. The Seme "asked" if he could put it in. Great! Awesome! Good job! But did we forget, the Uke also said "not now", "later", "not here". The Uke was anxious, but the Seme persisted. He kept "asking" pestering him to have sex. In the end, the Uke (gave up) agreed to do it. It didn't come off as forced because the Uke likes him too. But that's my 50 cents. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I know, It's cause other toxic mangas have characters that are physically abusive, neglecting and/ or verbally screaming at the MC. But honestly, that's not what you see all the time in most relationships. It's actually the people who don't know what "No" means and this manga was a perfect example. Lol
Do I love plots like these??? Where I feel like the ML will do something that would cause the MC to feel sad or relive his trauma?? Why am I excited for it to happen?? And I want to know how the ML will try to win him back in the end!!
But sometimes if the problem he causes, out weighs the "win back". I just see him as unredeemable douchebag. It's so hard to balance a good angst and a healthy plot...sigh
DUDE YES EXACTLY
Omg. Same for me. I like these trope but couldn't find something like these. Do u have any recc ? With the exact description as u said ?
"Loving the now" and "the third ending" are the ones that easily popped into my head.
Loving the now doesn't have a toxic ML but it has a really good "win back".
The third ending is not a really toxic ML but he does something that he'll regret and the "win back" is also really good. In my opinion, both win backs are good.
If u have read these, then I'm sorry!
Oops I forgot to press reply to ur comment. The reply is up there ^
I have read third ending and it's one of my fav but I haven't read loving the new. Thanks for the recc
