1. he also had a troubled past similar to the dude on the side of the road, he would sit exactly like him when he had too much on his mind. the exception is there was an older figure who got him out of it, he asked what should he do to ever pay him back and he said “if you ever see someone in a similar situation help them out.” In the flashback to his pov he was actually hesitant to help him out and even drove away but eventually came back.
2. I think this depends on you he’s in his late twenties and the person on the side of the road is 17 but turns 18 in the first few chaps.
+the main guy said he wouldn’t do anything with a minor and doesn’t until after he turns 18
3. he doesn’t react weird to the kid liking him, he didn’t mind the only thing he said was he wouldn’t do anything with him till he was 18. convo happened the same day he turned 18
