I don't understand why it was even added that So-Yi had a crush on Bin, who is about 3 years younger than her, just for it to be revealed that she'll be stuck pining for her for a long time until she moves on because Bin doesn't see her that way. It just felt like some fans were baited into reading the side stories for nonexistent yuri.
Tbh, I'm legit disappointed that I was even remotely excited about this story because I loved Byul when he was a baby, even though the first manhwa sucked. But after reading the story, everything about him was so bland. He had no motivation throughout the whole story, and everything regarding him gets swept under the rug so his romance could be rushed along. I love the concept of a HS series because teenagers are angsty and dramatic, but it wasn't utilized at all. The story didn't have Byul focus more on the fact that he wants to be an idol who isn't just perceived as a nepo baby, that he still had love for music and singing despite people mistaking his voice for his father's. It made no sense that he had bad grades because the first story literally states that alphas are genetically coded to succeed academically in school. Have him be afraid that he'll be replaced by the new baby because he found out that Hyesung didn't want him at first at a young age. I'll always stand on this hill: he should've learned what Hyesung went through, from his mother abandoning him to his other father raping, paying, and having him sign a contract so he could give birth to Byul.
Take the cousin out of the story. She legit does nothing but crush on a freshman/sophomore as a senior. Have Siwoo actually be drawn as a teenager, not a 37-year-old muscular man. Give him more character besides, "Oh Byul, I've been in love with you since we were kids, but we're both alphas, so it's against the norm." So tiring. (Do*in legit only fooled around with alphas and betas in the OG), so idk why non-traditional couples are treated like a minority.
Keep the grandma stuff in because that was a wasted storyline. It should've been a lesson for Byul to learn to communicate once he sees something suspicious. Let Byul grow, but unfortunately, he was just a pretty model to be looked at. Can't really stand his design either. I was so hyped that he'd be a model due to him having softer features, but he'd still be extremely tall, just for him to be dwarfed constantly so he could fit the uwu soft uke archetype. Romance wasn't needed in the manhwa at all. It should've just been focused on Byul's (messy) family. Also, I really don't like how Fargo confirmed that it was going to be an all-ages BL, just for her to automatically go to Twitter and disclose the two's sexual positions as well. It irked me.
