That's fine, I'll try and explain. Do you remember Doll showing up at the orphanage? Technically she attacked Ciel and was killed by Sebastian too, but turns out she isn't dead. Or, to put it in better words, maybe they are gathering everything that is needed to resurrect the dead and Doll is one of the resurrected. In Public School arc we saw that Undertaker managed to make an undead say a few words, and in Concert Hall arc they were gathering blood for transfusions, so he is probably setting up something he needs to resurrect people. This would also make sense cause of that one person at the hotel that recognized Sebastian and said that he ruined his life. Sebastian doesn't recognise him, but what if he is just a Sebastian's victim in the body of someone whose memories have been harvested and substituted with a victim because Undertaker has a sense of humor? That would mean in this hotel they gather memories to use to resurrect people. My suspect is that this particular hotel does something like Genshin's Natlan's Name blacksmiths, they take memories from everyone to recreate the people that they mean to resurrect. Anyway, if Undertaker has a sense of humor like that, it's only fair he would use the first massacred people that Ciel killed as guardians of the facilities. AND IN FACT, the last scene in Book of Circus was Undertaker riding the funeral carriage and wondering about Ciel's soul's integrity, so he was probably there to take away the corpses of the members of the Circus. This is also makes sense because Undertaker never targets Ciel directly, he only ever attacks Sebastian and puts him to the test to see if he cares about protecting Ciel. He also says "as long as you are loyal to him I'll spare you". Maybe his target was never Ciel, it was always Sebastian and this is why he's putting all the people he killed on his way, to show Ciel just how dangerous Sebastian is.

You're onto something ... but I also remember the author saying that Sebastian's face isn't supposed to look like Vincent, it was just an art syndrome thing. But... you never know!
