At least he's acknowledging that everything he's saying are nothing but excuses. That's a start. And I hope he survives, because I think he needs to atone for what he's done to his sister. Obviously, not all of it is his fault (his parents and their society passed onto him their warped beliefs about non-powered people), but he certainly perpetuated a lot of it.
I'm only in ch 2, but I'm not sure I like the premise of this. It's like he's being punished for finding a different aspiration in life since he no longer likes being an idol. It's like he's supposed to only live out his life for the fans and not have any agency of his own? I don't know...
Right i get annoyed by the system too...he can't even be himself
I thought the same thing when I first started reading it but honestly he seems way happier right now since he got the chance to fix his relationship with his friends and group that he lost in the first timeline (hajun and his rap friend in particular), seeing group growing on each other and him making an effort to communicate with them this time was really worth it (*≧∀≦*)
