I think it is the first time that I find both male characters interesting in a manga/webtoon/manhwa/etc.
I have nothing against any of them, they both behave in an appropriate way. Of course both Katsu and Ryusaki are hiding many things but until now we have seen their true nature, what they are when they don't think about their duties.
To be honest I have a thing for Katsu, I love his character and I prefer him not only for his looks but also for his way of treating Mei.
Anyway...I love how the author managed to show every part of her characters. If Ryuzaki is straight-forward and honest (maybe too much for me, as I would not appreciate someone treating me the way he treats Mei, but that's me), Katsu is so reserved and keeps his feelings all for himself, so much that the reader could easily think that he doesn't see Mei as a woman...if the author didn't make us understand that he DOES like her. The problem is that hiding feelings is hardly ever a good idea and Mei surely agrees with me as she is gradually falling in love with Ryuzaki. This is gonna be interesting but I'll always root for Katsu! (▰˘◡˘▰)
I really liked the story even if I admit I found the marriage a bit rushed. However, the art is awesome and I like the characters. I guess the author wanted to focus on their life as a married couple and I love this idea. I was kinda tired of reading manhwas that, after 80 chapters, have no romantic development because of the characters' lack of communication. By the way, I'm so sad that it won't be translated anymore because of copyright reasons. Does anyone know where to read it in original language?

Mmmh I'm not sure I understand Rio's decision... I would have actually preferred to break up with the boyfriend as he doesn't really understand what's wrong with me. I mean, I could understand if the relationship lasted VERY long... but in this case I think it's not strong enough. If Rio needs someone near her, she can try as hard as she can but there will be a time when she'll be tired [again] to wait for a boyfriend who can't do anything for her.
So, even if I always root for characters to stay forever with their boyfriends, this time I feel that she made a wrong decision... :/
I agree with you. I couldn't stay with someone I could only see every other 3 to 6 months at a time. Without barely any calls or anything. Specially in the beginning of a relationship.

If it was me, even if he says he thinking about me all the time but can't make the time to text/call me then he isn't trying that hard. I like that he's a free spirit but I can't imagine that loneliness of being alone most of the time. I mean come back once every 6 months? or once ever 3 months. That means she only gets to be with him 4 times a year. And we don't even know how long he wants to travel before he settle down.
Goodness, when they were talking about breaking up. He didn't even ask how she felt or apologize for neglecting her for 6 months. Just selfish words sprouting from his mouth. I personally think that if you truly love someone, you'll put in more effort in worrying about them, caring about them, loving them with both words and action.
For Takeru he has neither words or action of love. i felt bad for Rio, no wonder she thought about breaking up with him. I like how she's putting effort on trying to let him do what he loves... but doesn't feel like he's thinking much about how she's feels just the fact that during that couple months he contact her one time?
I mean they dated for 6 years.... but they still got a lot to learn.
At the least it would have been nice to see him understand why she wanted to break up with him. it just felt like he said he'll compromise just because of his own wants and not because he could see what was wrong. But since they are together i'm rooting for Rio chan to have a happy life <3
Honestly same. The other guy is such a waste to let go srsly. I mean I get that it's shoujo but the reality is, if you're not seeing each other and you're the only one making an effort, it's better to move on
It seems an unpopular oponion from the comments I've seen, but I would have taken the same decision as Rio. She loves Takeru, not the other guy. She didn't want to break up with him because she wasn't seeing enough of him, she thought he didn't love her. When that misunderstansing got cleared up she couldn't break up with him. If you break up with someone because you don't see them enough you don't love the person you love being close to someone. They love each other and Rio is extremely patient with Takeru but he made a big step foward considering how much of an airhead he is.
