I have like- a MASSIVE suspicion towards Jihu/Jihoo of being a girl in disguise. Let me explain myself here. I’ve read a few of this artist’s stories and I noticed how differently they draw male and female characters. From the moment I saw him I was just like “damn he’s cute… too cute” and then his body language, too. The way he stand and act (a little “く” shape of standing in that one panel, his mannerisms are soft, he’s good at make up and doesnt feel anything towards women - while the MC always blushing) makes me feel like he’s either a tomboy or a queer person.
Or maybe I’m just looking too deep into this. No hate or anything just my observation lol
But why does he has it “worse” ?? He got the information from a third party, doesnt get beat up or left alone or heard deranged, hurtful things Suo said like Nirei???? EVERYONE from his class , especially his group, would feel as hurt and deserve to get their pov shared about Suo’s situation. But obviously because he lost a friend for the first time that every. single. one have to go and comfort him.
And sure, let’s say I’m biased even though Nirei isnt even my favorite, we can NOT deny Suo and Nirei have a deeper bond, and more aligned with each other as they support Sakura in everything. I was so hyped to see that we can explore more about their relationship but instead, we have Sakura harem route (from what I see)
For me the difference from someone who had nothing from the very beginning, can't trust no one and starting open up then getting peers at the same time VS a person has peers and has people they can talk to from the very start... The person who started to gain peers will feel the impact from losing someone much worse. Sure both will feel the lost the same time but the weight of it mentally is very much different. The one who got nothing their entire life and then they gain something will be 100% scared of losing that something and for sure it will eat them from the inside.
╮( ̄ - ̄ )╭
Well, their scenes in manga might be few but Sou has a considerable impact to Sakura. Sou, in his own subtle ways, have contributed on Sakura opening himself up towards other people.
And Sou being one of the people who Sakura has opened up to for the first time, who he treated not only as a friend but also a trusted ally FOR THE FIRST TIME also will really affect Sakura more than the others who are much more accustomed to human contact.
Harem route is so true, almost everyone should have an arc with Sakura to they even get development, Sure Sakura is a loving character and the mc, but it gets really tiring, Kiryu with Sakura, Momi with Sakura even Sugi change a little and got a little close with Nirei but because of SAKURA as the topic and Author had to make sure Endo treats Sakura like he treats Chika and be part of his favoritism. Like a lot of character's relationship with each other became bland because pretty much Sakura should be the center

This is cliche , a little cringe and a typical “he’s such an interesting guy” MC but I don’t hate it all. I’m dying for new chapters
