So ik a lot of people think he is cold to MC, but there is indeed a reason for this. He has no choice. The previous empress didn't save him out of goodness of her heart, but in order to force Varkas into an oath that he will always do whatever her children ask of him. So he is doing his best while also hating the twins and their mother for putting him under this oath.
Can't say I was a fan of the novel. 'You changed suddenly, so now I also suddenly have feelings!' is an awful trope, but I particularly hate it because it usually brushes over the conflict of why they dislike MC so much. And I love a good conflict! One that isn't going to disappear just because MC changed, nor actions that are forgotten. I remember well being repulsed by the ogMC before possession because she was really nasty in her affections, but then the new one is in the body and CP suddenly doesn't mind everything awful she did to him? Now he misses it? This guy seems like a total masochist. On the other hand, letting her live after she broke into his house like multiple times? Why didn't he throw her in jail after the first time?
Man, stop giving me love triangles, the one I like never wins... Besides even tho Damon and MC are funny, I still don't like their romantic dynamic being like 'she has to help him cause she feels bad' or 'he's her responisbility.' That's a parent-child dynamic, not really sexy when it comes to romantic couples.

I understand the ML debacle rn, but if I see comments later treating the middle school character like a love interest I’m gonna lose it. Already saw it under the novel chapter and I was floored. Yes, his teammates thought he likes MC because they see him as an adult which is clearly a problem as shown in the story. The reason he likes MC is because she gives him attention that one would give to a CHILD. Something that hasn’t happened since he awakened! Is he annoying and wants attention whenever she’s near? Yes, kids are like that! Don’t fcking call it possessiveness or some shit, that just him being childish and jealous. Normal traits for kiddos!
Just because some harem/multiple choices manhwas have childish side male leads doesn’t mean it’s normal y’all. It's very entertaining tbh. Not perfect, but for a manhwa with a quick pace it can really pull you in.

Someone said that FL is boring, but she's really fine? Her come backs are not the best but she is snappy and altough her reactions are pretty much general, they are appropriate to the mess she finds herself in. She's also pretty active as a protagonist and her chemistry with ML is yet to shine (I've read the novel), but it's there and it's nice. Overall, this manhwa just started.
Having a good reason still doesn’t change the fact that Loulan did a lot of terrible shit. She hurt as many people as she could and mc is really lucky to have ended up well despite all the terrible glimpses of her life outside they showed us in those cutesy and funny artstyle, cause none of that is funny or cute. Dying from cold or hunger? Having to deal with the dirty matters in the red light district? I’m all for praising her endurance but it seems like they’re skipping over just how terrible and hard it truly was.
Please don’t be the fucking ML… The way this dude treats people in general is a red flag, even if once he’s in love he’s better towards Fl. I can only see it working if he gets a redemption character arc, but sadly I would put my money on him getting a sad backstory to excuse his actions instead.
So ML is trash but he is that way because of FL. She literally made him into this mess. ML's family has an ability to regress, while FL's already dead noble family has an ability of prophercy. She got captured in her first timeline by CP and tortured immensly. Her family dead as they tried to falsify identities before. FL wants revenge against CP so she approaches ML for his ability. Except the trigger for the ability is a 'traumatic event'. So... FL literally traumatises the guy for like 14 timelines because he's just that kind of useful tool to her. In this current timeline ML erased her memory and send her to work as a maid. Basically it never works out when she rememberes being tortured by CP so this time she doesn't.
It’s so funny to me that he keeps on saying she’s interesting ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ and feels like a comrade to him. My man, she hates the same dude that you hate and you were moved. She should keep on roasting that ogML shithead, then ML would give her even bigger discounts and perks. Yes, he’s that petty.

So Ik some people might not like the 4 year age gap between mc and ml, however fear not. This is defo a case of an adult in a younger body, rather than a young girl with memories of an adult. It is stated somewhere in there that she's mature and professional, doesn't act her age at all. Children fights just make her sigh and irritated and what she cares about are the adults, the real, serious enemies. In fact, mentally she's much older than ml, since she 'became' Rubellia by absorbing her memories. Idk who's the inappropriate one here, but their romance is done really well so I wouldn't worry about that. They get to know each other first and only later do they flirt.
ML’s both parents are alive! And his father’s reaction to his son’s negative rizz is going to be great.
