Many are saying that everything was resolved real quick like the problem was just brushed off but you got to remember that people who love each other are quick to forgive. Let's just appreciate that they have established a healthy relationship now as a family
Real though idk but some people out there are really just kind, my father was in a kind off similar situation with his dad (but kinda worse) and i once asked my dad why he would do that and all he said was he wants to have peace in his heart and his love for his father enabled him to forgive
