I feel like I’m about to vomit blood after 165…. So many people died all because of Yi’s schemes and you’re telling me no one is going to get revenge?! Everything feels so rushed and it’s making me angry. I even fogot it was supposed to be bl because of all the war plots. It feels like “alllll of that, for nothing” like I just wasted all this time to read this and then, that’s it. I don’t even know if I want a season 2 at this point.
This is a little off topic but aside from my “reading” and “want to read” lists being empty, for whatever reason this manga is showing up in my “already read” list and with a different rating than what I had given it. It used to be in my “reading” list and either hadn’t rated it or had given it more stars. Is anyone seeing something similar happening to their reads?
I loved the story, up until they started rushing the ending. It felt like they ended up changing up Haru’s personality and the way he responded to the situations they being put in, in order to get to the ending of the story. Like seriously, Haru doesn’t seem like the type to push Neungso into becoming King to a group of people/rabbits who mistreated him and left him traumatized. Not to mention the author/artist had to prove how Neungso’s grandfather doesn’t love him and then just ignore it and make him stay there anyway.
Other than the ending, the rest of the story was great and I loved it. I wish we had gotten some mpreg scenes of Haru and some baby pics. Who know maybe they’ll decide to come back with some side chapters.
Now Rokan’s got to be a hero when all 100+ chapters he was just a guy out for revenge against another guy and trolling other players in a video game..
I don’t mind the vr x reality crossover but it feels like everything is getting rushed. Now we’ve also got this girl, who it seems, the author is trying to pair Rokan with.. no FL please.
Idk. I hope they take a bit more time to develop the story at a more steady pace instead of rushing it.
I hated Kile, he was so completely and utterly useless and annoying. Not once did Kile or any of his ‘allies’ take the initiative to teach Kile how to control his supposed awesome powers or how to even suppress the surges. Kile’s indecisiveness also often put everyone else in danger. I actually preferred Ray to Kile, and he wasn’t even in there much.
The story had so many plot holes and so many of them remained unresolved. What happened to Chief Anderson? Edith’s right hand man? Why couldn’t Atropos just have met Ray waaay back when he wanted to have his esp removed? She seemed to not be under much surveillance from the bureau if she was able to transport herself from that green house to Edith’s home and back. What was it she wanted to see Kile and Ray for when she asked Asher to bring them in? What about the Bureau? It feels as though there was so much dissent against the bureau but ultimately nothing happened.
Then there’s Ray and Kiles relationship. It felt as though Asher and Lou had a deeper connection to Ray than that between Ray and his literal brother.
I think this story could’ve been a lot better. It feels as though the whole ending was just a copout. I also think Asher and Ray would have been a better love story than Kile and Lou.
Asher, Alec and Lilly = MVP!! They literally covered for everyone when it came to the action scenes.
I kinda agree with you on that, while I don’t hate Kile, I blame the author more for not writing a better story. There are so many flaws, so many unanswered questions and some parts were poorly written. I wish this was written better by someone else. God I really do wish this was written by someone who do better. I’m pretty sure any guideverse authors can do it.
I really enjoyed this story. It was very happy but equally heart wrenching. I had absolutely no idea in which direction this story was headed when I started reading it. It broke my heart to see all the abuse of power and physical/psychological abuse many of the characters were going through. I think the most heartbreaking thing though was how insensitive and cruel the ‘bystanders’ were. No one spoke up in defense of others or they would gossip believing they weren’t doing anything wrong because they weren’t the direct ‘perpetrators’ (like the media).
I wonder if the reason they avoided explicit sex scenes was due to the abusive relationships in the story or if this is just the r15 version?? I haven’t looked it up. I would like to believe it’s the former.
I loved the story but I also wished they had gone into more detail regarding the interactions between the characters. It felt as though the author only had a set limited amount of chapters to try to get the whole story out in. I hope one day they come out with some side chapters to help complete the story. I would’ve loved to see how Sunwoo’s documentaries go and see him and Hyunwoo live their dreams out together, Jungmin get some psychiatric help as well as punishment for the things he’s done, and Taesung’s life outside of the kpop industry.

I don’t know if they just gave up or lost funding but the ending is not what I was expecting. It was so rushed and we didn’t get to see what their lives are like after getting together. Maybe there’ll be side stories, I hope so at least.
