First, how can she not even think about her OG self if she's so worried about her son? (Or as we know as...) she's been there for those many years but wouldnt pave a safety net...(and this is in condsideration of the things she can do woth her 12 yr old body) and how her OG self lived

Second, how could the war be any different than the first if the only change was her soul coming back (all the while having the OG live as she is). We even only ever glossed over the pope coz so many push-and-pull drama is going on.

Third, this whole be-with-Jules but stay-away-from-Jules push and pull is frustrating given the fact that the author conveniently skips thru the tension since they just keep dropping the conversation. Like can't you be anymore obvious that you're dragging it coz you've got a full blown background story you struggled to insert?

Fourth, Eric is just... wow, i feel bad for his character because not only is it just a convenient rival-trigger, his overall disposition would fit the squire better. But i guess his no-name background is more convenient than a squire who could have been a good competitive rival for her and have chemistry with(since he adores Ren). Unfortunately he has some status IG..like what is he even here for anymore.

Anyway, the priorities are messed up and having an exciting panel here and there doesn't really account the fact that the author is buffering on how to push Jules to the edge and make sure the OG Illian doesn't mess it up for Haven LMAO.

And this is just season one, i'm just thinking about how much further it spirals given Jules obsession. This sadist is like a forewarning to how Jules will treat Haven. And im sure it was the mystery deities helping Jules to kill himself the first time since Jules keeps failing here. So I'm going to drop it now, as the future no longer excites me. I feel bad for Raul, too. My boy has been having 3 mothers like a domino substitution.
