I tried to enjoy this story, but tbh the lack of logic is concerning, not martial arts logic or regression logic, no, I'm talking about common sense. It's too much, too much dragging, too much "how on earth do they think" , yh I get the antagonist are psychotic, no reasoning behind their actions, yada yada yada. But really it's annoying, the FL is annoying, her mother is annoying, the antagonists are annoying, the principal, the most annoying, the story is to be truthful, Annoying. There's so much angst, so much it overshadows any theme that the story has to offer. Sorry, I'm ranting too much on just a story but really the ratings lied.

I did too but then I was like “I should at least read more” and honestly it wasn’t about her darker skin at all. She never even seemed to think darker skin was a bad thing either. So I honestly was already past that part of her being darker.
