YA'LL if anyone starts hesitating about going to therapy because of what happens in ch. 53 PLEASE KNOW THAT WE DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE ELSE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY DURING SESSIONS LMAOOOOO but it kinda fits his character so ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Yep, I agree with the other commenter! Take your time to do some research. If you can, talk to someone of authority — I'm not sure where you're from, but if you have public social services, you can start asking from there. It might take some time to find the right therapist and treatment, so don't be discouraged if you feel like you aren't "getting better" even after starting. Just the fact that you are thinking of seeking help is a sign that you're taking the steps to get there :) I wish you all the best and I wish you good luck!!! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
... if it was done correctly. Honestly, Pray's arrival into their relationship felt more like the author needed another character (like wtf for?) to give Jan the emotional awakening he needed to grow up. Honestly, we didn't need another character to do that by overturning the whole bonding thing; Jan had Kurtz who was already bonded to a Hugo to do that for him, but of course, we needed an excuse for a 3p DP. It would have been okay, had Jan and Jamil had the on-screen conversation they needed as opposed to Pray getting all those. It's not like we needed further deliniation between those two since they were visually polar opposites, but the fact that the author made it SO obvious that the human ~connection~ between Hugo and bondmate is only possible because of the jmperfection in Pray's creation made the whole Pray conflict about Jamil being well-made as opposed to hum who wasn't moot. Like, there were whole ass chapters dedicated to Pray ripping Jamil apart for ~pretending~ to be human and then Jamil wasn't even given a chance to show what that was like? No mention of it at all between Jan and Jamil. It felt like Jamil was the character development trope and Pray was the Mr. Right, except Jan just hadn't been able to move on (and the author was kinky) so they decided to all stay together. I was expecting at least half a chapter of Jan and Jamil, just the two of them, talking about why Jan broke up with Jamil in the first place, but it was just... nada. Lol ranting but akfhskfnefnjd this is NOT a well-established poly and I am Sad.
Overall rating, 3 stars, for the thought experiment. Seokie out.
this one hit me right in the feels b/c i’m training in TF-CBT and most of my clients are children who are victims of child abuse and,,, gahd,,, “sex is dirty” IMAGINE A 12 YEAR OLD SAYING THAT :((( i want Noah to be safe and warm and happy and as far away from his abusers as possible that is all
he needs to be far away from all the characters, female mc included. in a sexual-free environment. :c
i rarely comment abt this stuff but i gotta say, this is the sh!t. this literally had me crying, and had me pressing my right arrow key in suspense hoping n wishing that this chapter isn't the last one, please let there be another one.
hats off to sensei for being able to write something as cliche as unrequited love so beautifully. i think it captures the beauty and tragedy of untold, unrequited love almost perfectly. (and also, will we have a Shima/Togawa spin off, I wonder? and even if it's a het story, i want Kuma-chan to have his own book, too!!! it's thanks to him that our couple met in the first place, after all)
It feels so bittersweet how loyal the manhua is to the novel, but I was looking forward to the 'different ending' from the author's notes
