I know he’s kinda like a side side character but I’m kinda in love with how sad his story is gearing up to be because there’s no way he’s ever going to actually succeed at his dream and unlike all the other bottoms, his top genuinely does not give a fuck about him
Ray is quite literally one of the biggest bums I have ever seen. Like I genuinely think this series is really good with character development, which is seen in the FL and ML and even the side character, but ran quite literally one of the biggest waste of potential and space I’ve ever seen because he literally doesn’t do shit. He only exist to roll over and give her the throne. Even when it comes to his niche of farming, it’s not like he’s the best farmer to ever exist. It’s just a hobby for him. He’s just some bum who lives on a farm. I’m so glad at the end. They started to let him be a little bit intelligent because I genuinely thought he was just dumb as a bag of rocks.
I know he’s probably gonna end up with the blonde main character however I think it’s so interesting how so far it seems to be a story of a knight wrangling three unruly royal children because the oldest daughter, even though she seems to act the nice list it’s still unruly and it seems like it’s only going to get worse from here.
Ragebating old man you keep going up the pyramid like you’re such an interesting character I will save you from that Omega who doesn’t deserve you
This is going to be insane, but this might genuinely be the best. His character has been written so far because it shows his manipulative tendencies and how he manipulated his best friend into doing something that was ultimately good for him but something Ho-In wanted into a situation that his best friend wants but Ho-In doesn’t anymore. I mean, this is say I don’t think he’s going to be a fan of Woo-Jin’s relationship because he describes Yi-Tae as trapping his best friend in a cage. That is not how you describe a relationship you’re supportive of.
I really hope that we see best friend relationship drama caused by Woo-Jin because I think that would parallel the previous story nicely. But overall, I’m really interested in seeing how the story will progress due to the fact that Woo-Jin character is a guy who was always the bridesmaid, but never the bride since he was a worst version of his brother, a worst version of his best friend who everyone loves more than him, including his mother and on top of that a worst gay and that seems to apply to everyone but Yi-Tae who is entirely obsessed with him
Woojin my boy he was just a baby why is he suffering so much like he was always second place no wonder he feels like the man who he wants would never choose him
If the author felt bad for the second male lead, you should’ve did something for him. He’s so pitiful and pathetic. Like he literally killed his family he has no one please oh my God.
Sexy old man, I will show you a fairytale love please come here.
I know he has a partner that will show up later however I don’t like that dynamic. He would be so much happier with me.
I need the big brother and the uncle to get together. A family of bottoms, the whole lot of them.
I do think this is a good story overall about redemption however, I felt like the ending of the main character fell a bit flat because he technically did not get redeemed. Like yes, he is now in a point where he can finally face the music, however, finally facing the music does not equal redemption. He has a grown tremendously however, since we seen his growth through the eyes of the other characters finding out that he was suicidal kind of shocking because I don’t remember they’re ever being a hint towards that unless you’re counting the alcoholism being a sign of self-destructive tendencies which you can I guess. However, he is not redeemed. Even if his family rejected him and he keeps living his life, that would be a better redemption story because he is at least attempting to help those who he has hurt.
Oushi my beloved, come back to me. We need to get you out of here and enter BL that I know you would make a fantastic uke like you on a walk with me because I see the vision to see the vision to like maybe pairing him up with the older brother would work but we need to get you someone that and for the love of God it cannot be dog girl because that’s all she is and she is such a nothing character, unfortunately
I don’t care what anybody says Helios was the biggest victim of the story. Also, Diana, but she started to spiral a bit however, she was right because hestia really was a demon centered on destroying her.
However, where you cut it Helios really was the biggest loser regardless because unlike kael, he can’t kill himself due to his position as a crown prince so whatever happens to him, he has to stick it out. First things first, he gets cursed with a horrible father. Now don’t confuse us with the emperor being a horrible man which she wasn’t. The emperor was a very good man however, he was so good he quite literally placed everyone else on top of his child. His dying words wasn’t even to his son.
Then he comes to understand his relationship with his wife and find out that he wasn’t really in love with her for who she was rather than what she can do for him, and when he finally starts, loving her for a person, his wife flips out because she is being hunted by the demon from hell and then she goes and tells her husband that she wish she never married him as she finds out that his love at first was fake.
And then he has to welcome the man who has Father loved more than him back into his life with his new girl who hates him only then to eventually establish a working relationship with her and eventually get into a one sided crush on her only to find out that she was using him and then to find out that due to your actions your rival like kinda brother killed himself in a past life. And on top of that, he have to continue working with him and her setting aside his personal relationship with them which I’m sure is on the rocks.
And then he is being pressured to marry again after his first marriage fell through so now he has to marry some woman who he doesn’t love and he has to have the car and raise that child to be the best they can be probably using his father‘s relationship with his brother as a guide to follow rather than his own relationship with his father
Helios my poor baby, someone please save him
Yaoi could have saved him but in all seriousness, I would say he probably suffered the most throughout the entire story which I think it’s crazy cause normally it’s the villainess or the main character but to find out that the woman you think is your soulmate who you low-key and screwing up your job for is actually your half sister because her mom raped your dad and then to find out that you’re not actually related to your family and you were only adopted because your grandfather felt guilty and then to survive a brutal car accident where you were hit by a car face on which causes you to lose most of your memories and then to regain our memories only to find out you have cancer and then to find out that your soulmate does not give a single fuck about you. I understand he’s not a main character. I would’ve loved to see the relationship between the family more than just her and him or them and her. If there are side stories, I would love to see a happy ending of him and then his former fiancé, but definitely not together because I imagine her a happy ending would be her finally running her company but his happy ending could literally be anything because he’s no longer associated with his company and he is not even biologically family to them so he’s probably not going to get anything but the tragic part about that is even though he’s not very good at business it’s all he knows. Maybe he could go into medicine?
I really enjoy how the first and second couple plots are weaving in with each other like I hope the second couple is jealousy plot is just as good as the first couples friends to one-sided enemies to lovers. I think the third couple top is everything and that’s all I can say about that couple.
I wonder if he’s happy and I wonder what a happy end for him would look like. Like I don’t know about everybody else, but I don’t think him going back with his family would necessarily be a happy ending for either party as they have now lived apart for four years and like he said when he was talking to the other doctor, he is now fundamentally a different person. I don’t know if that would be good for the daughter and his former wife but I also don’t know if that would be good for him as every waking moment he would have to atone for his actions and he wouldn’t be in the same position as he was last time as he would not be the breadwinner as I’m guessing he cannot go back to Doctor work.
I don’t think the series is going to end saying well the best thing he can do is kill himself, but I don’t necessarily think he’s going to have a happy ending like all the other characters as I don’t think there’s any way to realistically resolve his issues other than him being alone and content for the rest of his life, which I don’t think is a happy ending as they are very clear the impact of community in this story
