they stopped switching bodies(the other her probably died)and it had a good ending,but overall it was messed up
if you're wondering why i said that the other her probably died,it was cuz she was hit in the head before they stopped switching while she was in the other body. (=・ω・=)

I love a fucked up couple but Chiwoo was obv not that. When theyre both problematic and got psychotic tendencies and feed off each other. I love to ship that. BUT Chiwoo was obv a normal guy who wanted a normal life and Jihyun was not that PERIODT. I’m not saying that Jihyun don’t deserve a character arc and love, my point is can you really say you appreciate Chiwoo and his character if that’s who you want him to end up with he didn’t deserve that and if they did end up together they need to add the tag tragedy on because that’s what it would have been. Jihyun literally was the definition of TOXIC.

Say it louder for the people in the back and for the authors and fans of other toxic love triangle series please

totally understand that and i actually shipped him with kyujin and i am very happy about the ending. i was just talking about letting people ship whatever they want as long as they don't do harm. that's all!

i would actually argue it’s the other way around! if you’re under a mature tagged manhwa then you should be able to understand that jihyun and chiwoo are entirely toxic for one another.

chiwoo is toxic to jihyun bc he inhibits jihyun from growing as a person and moving on and becoming a more mature adult, and jihyun is emotionally manipulative and physically abusive toward chiwoo.

wanting him (jihyun) to somehow magically become nice and chiwoo magically forgives him after all that he’s been through is less mature than accepting that chiwoo and jihyun can never and will never be together.

this is just my opinion pls don’t read harshly into it.

But Chiwoo isn’t the basis for Jihyuns behavior he was like that beforehand and probably will be with the next person he might become obsessed with. It didn’t feel like love just obsession and Chiwoo being so weak willed that he enabled it but he wasn’t the cause that doesn’t make him toxic just weak. It might have been childish but understand while this is taking place they ARE kids lol so his response to such intense situations are understandable. And Chiwoo didnt show any sign of love for Jihyun just affection and a deep bond as a friend and couldn’t build himself up to make a change in that dynamic. Even in the most messed up ships they atleast are mad for each other but there was none of that for Chiwoo and maybe love from Jihyun but it just felt like he wanted to possess Chiwoo because he was the only person he could ever stomach being around. A deep lonelyness and insecurity caused his obsession not love is what I think.

that’s where i’ll have to disagree with you. he’s jihyun was getting into trouble before and would get into fights, argue with other students, not show up to class on time, yknow all the “gangster” shit.

but when he met and became close with chiwoo he at first attempted to “clean up his act.” somewhat as he felt himself “falling in love” (garnering an obsession) with/for chiwoo.

not until his advances are rejected do we see a real shift in the way jihyun acts. he becomes increasingly violent, throws himself into fights and loses just so that chiwoo will look after him, and begins to attack anyone that chiwoo shows interest in and vice versa.

and it’s not chiwoo’s fault for being “weak” because as you said they were kids when jihyun first confessed and staying by his side while softly denying his advances was what chiwoo thought was the best thing to do.

i hate when people say chiwoo is weak because he isn’t. he endured SO MUCH at the hands of one of the people he loved the most. he has to learn to love himself again and let go of EVERYTHING ab jihyun.

one last thing (IM SORRY) it wasn’t because chiwoo was the only one he could stand being around, while that was part of it. chiwoo is the only one who didn’t put jihyun on this pedestal of power or fear and jihyun LATCHED onto that.
