I think he’s trying to manipulate mc little by like give him the choice that’s not truly a choice, to make mc feel a little more freedom. And make MC learn that if he wanted something he should give something in return.
Normally people would say you have no right to monitor me in the first place so you should remove it even if I’m not asking.
But ML wait until MC give up that idea, then put the new idea, if I gave him a kiss he will remove it for me, if I refuse I’m gonna regret it. (And maybe put a blame to himself)
And to make the 1st step of the plan perfect, the things MC have to sacrifice should not be burden and MC can make a easy quick decision like “it’s just a kiss vs my freedom”.
If the author crazy enough next is “sex vs the chance to talk to his mother” or something like that.
P.S. if you’re the parents, don’t ask kids “ vegetables or not” ask them “Broccoli or Asparagus” kind of situation.

You guys are team MC vs ML but honestly I just cant side with anyone because the story itself is childish. Idek if the author had any experience in relationships tbh. Before you guys come at me this is a short story it’s just 9 chapters so the next chapter is the ending.
I already read it, i know what agenda the author is pushing lmao. So I told you, don’t have high hopes for MC, ML or even the story itself.
Actually you can see they’re together for 20 years only become lovers for 1 years and they act like they don’t know each other at all, I say it for both MC and ML. ML reason for acting nonchalant is also hilarious.
Read this for the first time, now I understand why people who reread it don’t think the story is as good as it was.
The author try to convince us that Adam thinks he’s the one in upper hand but in reality he is the one who fall in love with louri (he just try to avoiding it) so the one who are made to dance in red shoes was him all along. That’s why the ending was peaceful because she think “Adam doesn’t need redemption arc because he realized his true feelings and Louri knows what he’s doing, the only one who doesn’t know is Adam”
But of course when you re-read this when you grown up, you have much more experience in your life, you won’t agree with this. Louri is the one who was gaslighted and the victim of exploitation . So of course Adam is the one in the wrong and deserves punishment. He may realize your feelings or you may not but the fact that Adam made Louri suffer doesn’t change. That’s why the ending is not satisfying.

That guy secretly recorded them, I reread chapter 41 just to make sure and yes the author hide the record button.
ML’s family is somewhat well known right? And the content of the clip is ML being a whore before and now he’s changed and maybe seeing someone from the lighting team. And that’s it. he was called before he could reply. And that guy needed to record the practice afterwards so the content would not be more than that.
The call clearly has to do something with the video. The post was deleted when ML was with MC so it has to be someone else. I think it’s come from his family, like it’s ruined the family reputation so his family order to delete it and called/message ML to give them an explanation.
So I think I’m in his side for now Lol I hope I’m right.
ooo, i think it's probably because his acting was good because the recording button was only shown laterr, and thats why he keeps getting calls (maybe from diff agencies?) but yeahh, this is a good theory tho
The thumbnail of the clip doesn’t match.
In ch.41 when he started recording the practice time stamp is 00:00 .
But the thumbnail of the deleted clip is his face before the practice.
So yeah it’s mean the deleted clip was recorded before the timestamp and it’s 2 separate clips.
Idk if it’s author intention or just a plot whole tho.
