This is painful to read but I come up some realization... The second couple are like those main characters in other story where their love is so toxic, and there appears the 2nd male lead (which is the ml) he is this person who loves uke unconditionally and is the greenest green flag where we kinda hope they would end but we all know it wouldn't happen so we want him to be with someone better than the uke who can't let go of his toxic seme. And here comes MC, he would be that person we wished to live happily ever after with the 2nd male.
But everything is not easy, 2nd leads tend to end up alone, happy, & contented as long as uke has his happy ending and that is the current character of the ML, I get him I mean dude spent his childhood with that person, but he needs to realize there are things that are meant to let go.
This really feels like reading a side story. Actually, this reminds me of a story like this too but it's an omegaverse (forgot the title)

Where did you find that misinformation? Yes almost all of the Miller's are insane but they won't go as far as r*ping their own dad who gave birth to them. The eldest brother is distant to their Omega dad, in fact he even calls his dad formally "Mr. Niles". He's also uninterested in their family affairs just like Chase.
But I'd say their youngest was the one in the most dangerous position since he's close with all of his siblings and he's the only and first Omega child in the family, Ashley their father is overprotective on the youngest, he was even worried that he would accidentally get r*ped by his siblings, so when his siblings visit him they always have to go through Ashley first.
