unless i wasn’t paying attention, did we ever get to know how and why this man became so obsessed with her? is it literally just cus he took an interest in her the first time he saw her? cus “realistically speaking”, i’m not sure that drive him to have this elaborate plan on taking revenge on her husband and risking a lot just to be w her- like i still kinda feel like we didn’t get much backstory on him idk
