Why did he shoot the king in the chest? Sure a headshot is smaller, but he was indectectable against a target that wasn't moving. Lobotomizing the king would have been more effective than that chest shot.

Maria: Wants the Duke, in a possible future poisons lead herself, wants duke to leave lead and choose her. Brother's happiness unneccessary.
Imperial Mother: Wants Lead for son, if duke dumps lead will immediately drop maria like hot potato and urge son on lead.
If I had some "followers" who decided to end the world just because donations are down, I think I would do some smiting of the death kind and get belief up. These guys are doing evil in his name and he's doing nothing. He needs to be like Yahweh, who apparently killed so many high priests for being impure that the Isrealites started tying rope to the High Priest's ankles before he entered the Holy of Holies. If he lived, good if he died they could retrieve the body quickly.
But for once I would love to see the villian murdered right when he gets started. The twist as his neck snaps because the hero doesn't give a fuck is so impactful. Of course, it does turn the villian from important evil to yesterday's trash so I kinda understand why it doesn't happen more often.

I know the MC comments about Theo's treatment of the new workers makes him seem unreasonable, but consider that these three helpers do not have a high opinion of Theo.
They are frightened right now of the MC and restricted by their new contract, but that won't last. Theo need to also earn their fear and respect and this is probably the best way to gain that. If he continues to act this way it would be bad, but right now he needs to transfer their fear and respect to himself.
If the artwork is prophetic at all, then they are the same person. I'm thinking that Toshyp was forgotten and turned into Thanatos, keeping Hypnos as a secondary part of his power.
I hate these stories where the hero always lets his enemies live. I doesn't matter how many people they have killed the villian gets sentenced to a life of hard labor, like what about justice for their victims? But no, it's somehow noble to spare the life of a mass murderer, because the hero is better than them. That's why I like heros like goblin slayer who knows that the creature acting miserable is just waiting for a chance to kill again.
Could anyone recommend a isekai or hunter story where the MC doesn't gain a party of women who only exist to fall in love with him. I don't mind them gaining a party, but the members should be there to help not fan service.
