I feel that people are being too harsh on Ogha. I'm not 100 percent sure what is happening in his family. However, it doesn't seem to be an easy situation. Furthermore, sometime you don't want everyone to know your household situation if you yourself can't come to terms with it yet. I really understand why this is hard for him.

Well, background is background, but, if someone kill somebody, even if he has background that explain it, it is a fact that he is a murderer. Because of the background we can maybe forgive him, but he is still a murderer.
Of course, it's an other level here (or not, bullying can conduct to suicide so...), but still, a jerk is a jerk, I can forgive him (and I probably will ╮(￣▽￣)╭ ) with his background story, but the things that he is doing are not good (and in fact, very bad).
When I say fall I mean fall in love hard with the guy he's bullied, and has to make it up to him. I guess I should have made that clear
Just don't mix reality with fantasy because the consequences for bullying in fiction world is different from reality some cases lead to death and extreme case of depression.
