Can someone tell me what happens in the novel after this chapter?
This is when zhenya starts to realize his feelings but still doesnt understand them completely. He leaves the mansion. The government wants him to hand over both Anastasia and Taekjoo but they know he wont, so they send him on a suicide mission instead. While Zhenya is out of the mansion the government sends the military to find Anastasia. Taekjoo and Olga escapes but Takejoo is in bad shape. Zhenya survives the suicide mission and saves Taekjoo when he gets back to the mansion.
It’s been a while but if I remember correctly Zhenya destroys the room before leaving on a mission. In the meantime, Olga helps Taekjoo. When he wakes up, helicopters descend on the island and attack, leading to Taekjoo helping Olga get to safety while he ends up shot.
Further spoilers so don’t continue reading this if you don’t want to hear anymore.
Zhenya realizes the island is being attacked and rushes back. He ends up crashing his own helicopter into the attacker’s helicopter and dropping into the ocean. He searches for Taekjoo and finds him in a cave, carries him into the mansion, tends to him, and then I think that same night they get drunk together but Taekjoo shuts it down when he realizes he almost lets Zhenya kiss him. The next morning Taekjoo escapes!
Again, it’s been a minute, but I think I’m remembering everything correctly.
Ok so at the end you can see that Zhenya is panicking like his heart is gonna be pounding and he is upset and he doesn’t know why so he is gonna try to see if Taekjoo is alive and there is a light pulse but ofc it was weak and he listens to his heart and fixes his airways and he is sweating so much then he stands up and throws furniture around to try and relieve his mood and he is so upset so he leaves on the helicopter and Olga goes to help Taekjoo and a lottt happens while Zhenya is gone (if you want to know exactly lmk I’ll tell you) then we will get to see zhenyas feelings for Taekjoo
man why is everyone in the comments playing around like this isn’t truly a peak modern yaoi. Not saying it’s not problematic, but it’s extremely rare to find such realistic detailed characters that the author goes in depth abt their complexities.
Literally all modern yaois that ppl dickeat r just traumatic backstory seme n “character dev” like r yall not tired of the same redundant shit. Even this story uses that trope in a way, but it elevates it. Point being, I don’t see how this manhwa has so much hate for doing stuff that most yaois do when it’s written wayyyy better.
