Why does no one in this story care about the fl’s opinions? I feel like they’re always plotting behind her back and forcing her to do stuff she doesn’t want to do “because it’s good for her”. Also am I supposed to sympathize with her dad?? He neglected and emotionally abused her for her whole childhood, why’s the author trying to downplay it?
