I just read chapter 34 and it just confirmed orange hair is an asshole. He gives me the worst “nice guy”- ick. sarang has made it clear that she doesn‘t like him, yet he keeps on sticking to her and dragging everyone else down for her. He‘s in the WAYYYYY!
and I‘ve read quite a few comments glazing dohye. she‘s shit as well..? lol. subin is a bitch but orange hair and dohye keep on acting like they haven‘t played along for months/years. they‘re as guilty as subin, yet they‘re just throwing her under the bus. it‘s not like she didn‘t deserve it, but I kinda hate that there aren‘t any repercussions for them socially. Subin does have a victim mentality, but so does everyone else in the og friend group. none of them took proper accountability and just pushed everything on subin. the only ones without a victim mentality are red head and sarang. so I’m not sure how so many commenters end up only hating subin. she might be annoying as fuck, but her, sarang and red head are still my favorite characters. red head because he genuinely doesn’t care, sarang because she’s our little satan and subin because she’s the “flavor” this kinda story needs. hate her all you want, but her character is literally essential for a psychological story
wow this is beyond dark. Up until now it‘s just been grape so I‘m kinda concerned if and when we‘ll get to see the psychological aspect properly depicted. I really hope the artist/author shows us more than just fetishized grape and explores dark themes in a more meaningful way. otherwise I‘ll have to drop this and wish the remaining soldiers good luck for the rest of the story :/
absolutely hate the characters. everyone acknowledged that he lost his memory and hasn’t fully recovered. yet they put him in a straight jacket to sleep in and avoid him like the plague while explaining nothing. I don’t give a shit how terrible he might have been before his memory loss. you don’t treat a confused patient with amnesia like that. and that fuckass guide? he ignores his partner to the point of attempting suicide, watch him be ignored and excluded while being his attending doctor, refuse to treat him as he doesn’t want to guide him, yet also refuses to pass him on as a patient and partner..? hello? am I tweaking or missing some puzzle pieces? and then that performative concern when he was taken into an additional examination with his straight jacket, as if he didn’t watch him in that fackass suit for days. honestly fuck everyone and I don’t care what an ass the ML was. prisoners are treated better than this.. they were awful parents. 7 year contract? did they actually think that would work? ken’s response/anger as a kid made so much sense. and since those two took too long to actually explain anything, the damage was already done. ken already resented her too much and suddenly going back would be hard. especially for someone as stubborn and traumatized as him. and nick? he did literally nothing wrong. why is he being punished? it is obvious that FL neither wants to go back to the old house, nor continue playing his mother. I couldn‘t care less about his backstory. MC‘s as well as ML‘s highschool story is just giving lukewarm. sorry but I‘m bored as hell. and ML still seemed somewhat normal. or better said, functional. dafuq made him do the shit the present? the story started strong and seemed interesting in the beginning. but at this point, I just dislike both characters. I can‘t even feel for the MC. I still remember his perspective of the events and even then I was like: meh.
