this was soooo goood a light fluffy read, the right amount of tension that isn’t too heavy. same as anon (prev commenter) said, this was very wholesome and didn’t have a fear of homophobia “what would people think” arc. queer love is love!! this was super duper cute.
ngl i prefer the second couple more xD myy style LOL the side stories of smut is perf too. this story wraps up nicely tbh!!! would def reread this if i’m looking for something easy and fun and fulfilling
i noticed that manhwas/webtoons have overtaken the front page, and even most genres, in the last few years. i miss when there was diversity in both genres and medium. i could easily search for & discover new manga before, but now it’s filled with manhwas with the same recycled plots.
i enjoy them as well, but sometimes i miss my roots yk? i started with manga years ago and since losing our saveds on here it’s hard to search for them with the influx of rofan/action/fantasy/smut manwha :”( (TLDR i just need a palate cleanser LOL)

ohhhhmygoddddd this is so good. the lore & worldbuilding is sublime!!! i eat dat shit up!!! oh my gawd. and im so intrigued by the culture & setting of arnata. very reminiscent of west/south asian culture, which is awesome!!! dark skin characters ftw. they’re depicted so beautifully in this story. the art is amazing.
and the dialogue structure. hoooly moly it fits the setting of the story so well. it may seem a bit deep or complex to beginner readers but i believe it enhances the experience of the story, especially since the lore is complex as well. ALSO beloved” as a nickname is making me feeeel things bro like…. if someone as handsome as that calls me beloved i would FOLD so fast. i think it adds a nice touch to the dynamic of our leads.
admittedly there isn’t enough smut to my liking/as i expected but i don’t mind, it’s mostly world building since it’s the first season. and its truly truly so interesting like I’M HOOKED! so excited for more smut scenes cuz the characters are soooososo pretty.
“you musn’t.. you’re the exalted sun!” as he goes down on him slurping his ass OHHHHH THAT WAS SO GOOD i need to see more.
woe is me for reading this when it’s just at 30 chapters. now i have to wait for soooo long oh my gosh. but this truly was such a good read. i’m gonna go read the author’s other works cuz gyadamn!
