this was soooo goood a light fluffy read, the right amount of tension that isn’t too heavy. same as anon (prev commenter) said, this was very wholesome and didn’t have a fear of homophobia “what would people think” arc. queer love is love!! this was super duper cute.
ngl i prefer the second couple more xD myy style LOL the side stories of smut is perf too. this story wraps up nicely tbh!!! would def reread this if i’m looking for something easy and fun and fulfilling

this is sooooo good the leads chemistry, and the whole cast in fact, is so natural!! nothing feels forced. and i like that they started out as a couple early on in the story, so we see them navigate their relationship and communicate through issues. sooo nice. i love when characters are mature :3

the amnesia arc was kinda corny for me, and having the crown prince reveal it also felt meh …. though i understand it was the result of fiona’s indecision and complacency with coming clean. wait ok in hindsight the amnesia arc was there to show that even without her memories she is still loved by everyone. maybe i just hate amnesia arcs LMFAO. it feels like an escape route for when the author doesn’t wanna deal resolving plot points.
anyway ….. i’m really liking this so far!!! this is my third reread but i never got to finishing it idk why. stopping here for now cuz i’m getting too overwhelmed lol taking a brain break but im excited to see how this ends!! super cute friends to lovers couple <3

ohhhhmygoddddd this is so good. the lore & worldbuilding is sublime!!! i eat dat shit up!!! oh my gawd. and im so intrigued by the culture & setting of arnata. very reminiscent of west/south asian culture, which is awesome!!! dark skin characters ftw. they’re depicted so beautifully in this story. the art is amazing.
and the dialogue structure. hoooly moly it fits the setting of the story so well. it may seem a bit deep or complex to beginner readers but i believe it enhances the experience of the story, especially since the lore is complex as well. ALSO beloved” as a nickname is making me feeeel things bro like…. if someone as handsome as that calls me beloved i would FOLD so fast. i think it adds a nice touch to the dynamic of our leads.
admittedly there isn’t enough smut to my liking/as i expected but i don’t mind, it’s mostly world building since it’s the first season. and its truly truly so interesting like I’M HOOKED! so excited for more smut scenes cuz the characters are soooososo pretty.
