And I’m curious. What is there to like about TJ?
If you don’t remember, he broke Ian’s leg to keep him inside the gang world, dragged him back, pushy towards Ian and manipulative.

They like him because he's sexy (and admittedly, he does have electric chemistry with Ian). He has literally zero redeeming traits besides that lol. 'Abusive, toxic, narcissistic asshole' doesn't even cover it.

That’s where you’re wrong, cause Ian contradicted himself in Season 2. He literally said he would kill for Tj, and feel so pissed Tj never contacted him for a month. He realized a lot of things when he thought Tj was badly injured after the accident.

And I’m sorry I’m not entirely accurate with this one (correct me if I’m wrong) cause I only use google translation for Season 2, but it was narrated by Ian that it was funny how he want to leave him (tj) in the beginning, only for him to realize he could never escape tj no matter what he do (it’s both because of his feelings for him, and their past together). In Season 2, it was Ian who keeps implying he would do anything for Tj, but Tj on the other hand looks like he’s getting ready for farewell, base on his action. Their situation changed.

It’s true that IAN wants to live a normal life but his guilt from TJ is dragging him back and of course I’d also do anything for someone I’ve struggled together with for a long time. That’s not healthy love regardless if he does still love TJ, I thought I remember Ian saying during the roof moment in S1 that he doesn’t love him anymore the same way he used to. Now it’s more of guilt and toxic comfort.

And that’s toxic. TJ is literally dragging him back and he can’t escape, his struggles are within TJ and they need a closure. Ian himself left for a reason and then was found by TJ, he clearly can’t escape. And gave up.

I didn’t say Ian doesn’t care for TJ, they clearly do as they both grew up together struggling. There’s some sort of trauma bonding which is not = love.

It’s more of because of their trauma/history than actual genuine love. I don’t understand how you can love someone who doesn’t let you have peace and broke your leg, I remember Ian saying he doesn’t love him the same way anymore.

Ian does care a lot for TJ and Vice versa which is holding both of them back. They need a closure, Jo is the only one who can give Ian a normal life he’s always wanted. I am thinking Jo would be endgame or plot twist TJ with Ian but we’ll see. The author emphasized Jo before TJ in the beginning chapters as if he was ML.

If Ian does really still love TJ, I hope he doesn’t lead Jo on. It’s disgusting to do this to him and TJ too, going back and forth with them isn’t right and hurtful. Jo doesn’t even know about their sexual relationship and he doesn’t have to, I think TJ also doesn’t know about Jo and Ian’s sexual relationship, sigh.

It’s a mess. I hope they resolve it in S2 a bit and some majority in S3-S4.

I think S2 will focus more on TJ and Ian. Not sure. And maybe S3 is the turning point where Jo plays a more important role.

Tj and Ian’s rs revolves around trauma bond fs, but in S2, he keeps on contradicting his words. You’re right about S1 where he said he doesn’t love him anymore, but his action always fails him. The way he clings to Tj as if he’s gonna lost him annoys me cause he keeps contradicting whatever the f he says in S1.

Either he’s gonna leave to take revenge for Jason or marry someone for the gang I’m not sure, that’s what they speculated too. Or reality finally struck him that people close to him can die any minute because of the nature of their job, that’s why he’s leaving Ian (I only read this in twt too idk about this one tho.) But I don’t feel right that Jo can only get his time with Ian just cause Tj’s gonna leave, it feels unfair! He doesn’t deserve that.

They’re both clingy to each other, they’ve always comforted through actions than words that’s why it’s toxic and just sad to see. The sex is hot though but afterwards it’s so sad and it hurts. I’m probably just gonna read once S2 is done lmao9z

Yeah I saw some people saying he’s doing it to protect Ian. Motherufcker I hate love triangles for a reason. It’s hard for me to root Jo when I also want TJ happy and root for him too. Unless this ends in a poly route, I’m gonna stay sad. I don’t want Jo hurt and usually I root for toxic guys, but Jo is just so precious and genuinely good. I don’t want him hurt cause of Ian’s indecisive contradicting ass.

That’s why I hope in S3 (if not S2) TJ and Ian communicate and get a closure for their past traumas rather than continuing this same toxic comfort sex.

Right, this is how their RS implied in S1, that’s why I was annoyed how Ian’s words seems to feel like lies cause he just keep coming back to Tj. When they did it in the car, if you read this story for Jo, you will feel hurt for him and so mad istg. They’re way too passioniate and you can see it in their eyes, the other one won’t let go and the other wants to memorize the other’s face in his mind (this is where they get why Tj is leaving).


Idk but I hope Tj leaves tho so Ian can finally think what he wants in his life and realize a lot of things but looks like the tables have turned (im so annoyed at this), cause now it looks like it was Ian who can’t let go of Tj.

I always feel bad for the kind ml like After School, that shts the same as this (although this is heavier), however, the good thing in that story is the mc got some balls and knows his worth.

Oh yeah the MC in that story def got balls for sure, not sure if Jo is gonna be able to handle Ian. But he does seem determined and the type to care for others, he will definitely be hurt. Everyone’s gonna be hurt. I say I won’t read S2 but I probably will if I see the updates lol.

THIS is what I also want. Ah God I just want it to end, without any of them being dead. I really really love TJ, but they need that closure as you wrote... and find something new.

I have to disagree with this one on a certain level. He's handsome and charming, yes, but that's not all. He's capable, witty, he has a strong willpower and has EVERYTHING to be a good leader. He's strong, perceptive, bold and assertive. Maybe that makes him attractive for a lot of us here.
He's there where he is because he has good traits. (It's shitty that he's uses them in the gang, but that's really not on him, I mean his past.)
He lacks what's needed for a HEALTHY relationship, that's true. Manipulative, obsessive, possessive. All true. But as I see it, he also has guilt, remorse and (heavily broken) love.
IN MY OPINION that does not make him bad. But that's me. I might find comfort in characters like him. (Just as Ian, as he stated it.) He's complicated, but not a totally doomed one. Maybe that's why I'm defending him. I feel sorry for them. All of them, actually.

Never reading a love triangle again...

Seeing the raws and reading the comments I have the feeling too that he'll somehow get tangled in the gang-business, having a lot of enemies as shown, and will leave. Let's see how it unfolds. There's also a lot of past traumas and history we haven't seen yet.
All that said, I DO BELIEVE that for Ian Jo is a better match. Because Ian wants to have a normal life, stability and a health love, which Jo can provide. And TJ is satisfied where he is.
